New Castle Guards

Secure Your Castle With Epic Power

Lords and Ladies,

New Castle Guards are now available. The Naga, Phoenix, and Cerberus Guards will fight for you until their last breath – and then rise again to continue their duty.

Once stationed in your Castle, your Guards will help defend your Castle against enemy attacks. If they fall, they will be battle-ready once again in just 2 hours. Alternatively, friends can revive fallen Castle Guards instantly when visiting your Castle.

Castle Guards can be found in the Improvements tab from the Construction window. Find out more about each Guard by clicking “More…” on their portrait.

Open your mind! The fact you aren't thinking at some things doesn't means they don't exist...

Lord Greyhareyard

you have to open ur construction interface at rigth side on the screen, then choose improvements and u should see all the new and also de red dragons

if u cant see them, check if u have already purchased 3 of them, as the moment 3 is the max red dragons u can purchase.

if u havent purchased 3 of them and u still cant find them, then is a some kind of bug and u should contact support thru this link: https://plariumsupport.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

here is a ss of where u can find them:

and you should be allowed to 'darken' them in beacons :)

Just a shame plarium nerfed castle guard bonuses, which severely reduces their strength (and sapphire value)

Can you give more details on it?

Not a huge problem, but I think it a bit mean and petty to remove all bonuses from all castle guards - http://prntscr.com/h51rlg

this was probably done at the same time as bonuses were removed from Legendaries and Wraiths .... again, mean and petty (especially when you consider how much we spend on Legendaries)

Players might be better motivated to spend 15 THOUSAND Sapphires buying one Phoenix if they thought it would get decent bonuses from Fortress, Hero Avatar, Relics, Crystals etc

Thanks for the clarification.

Castle Guards are not usual Defensive Units. The main advantage is that once bought, they'll permanently stay in your Castle and give it Castle Defense Bonus. They can be destroyed, but then revive for free.

If all defensive bonuses apply to them, it would lead to disbalance.

The price of the phoenix scared me off somehow.

On the other hand, I thought every castle guard can be bought for 5 times, and thanks for the information. :D

Taking into account that Phoenix gives you +1000 Bonuses to Castle Defense Bonus, the price seems to be fair enough

And you're welcome ;)
