Updated Catacombs Mechanics!

Units You Purchase or Revive Will Now Report Directly to the Catacombs!

Lords and Ladies,

Eir’s fortune graces you this day! Your seers have found new ways to protect the lives of your warriors. From now on, all Units you purchase at the Black Market shall be sent to the Catacombs automatically.

Units inside the Catacombs shall be protected in the event of a Raid or Siege, but unable to participate in your Castle’s defense. Return them to their posts when the need arises!

Lord Oberon

Heir of Veyon, Scion of the Firstborn, Lord Regent of Stormfall

Well Now that you've protected the purchases how about protecting the ones built in the sentry house. That's what we're really looking for.

bit off topic - but having newly made troops in the sentry house having a greater defence strength - say +50% for 24h since they are fresh - would mean that people would make more troops if a raid was incoming ;)

Don't change it please. If you don't log on your account to cata your troops, they should be left out so actives can kill them. Part of the fun of the game for me is running around killing cooked alt troops on pvp weekend. Lets not get all crazy and start protected alt cooked troops.

I get your point, Sir Gradly, however there are people playing this game during the weekends, and use the working days to do the dailies, and build troops for the weekends. I considder those people "Active". In fact, Inactive players will not build any new units for you to kill.

So maybe the other option presented here, giving the newly builds extra defense capacity for say 24 hours can protect their investments in the newly build fighters. If that means you have to do a bit more for your PvP fun, like spying to find out the strength of your opponent (hm thats an idea...) so be it.

It takes 15 seconds to cata your troops. Now, if you had say a lot of alt accounts, that would be a pain in the [email protected]* I'm sure. If you have one account it's not a problem. Laziness should not be reward. Spying is cute when you are lower level and the big bad level 40s are scary. I've played the game long enough to "spy" on castles by looking for other things.

I respect your opinion, it's just different than mine...and that is okay.

LOL, For some reason, your reply was hilarious to me! :-D

On another note, I reall wish this feature was done wayyyy earlier in the game.

I really do like the idea that built troops go direction inside the Cata.......................... OR at least make it an option. Give the best of Both worlds.

I mean, Realstically..... I being the Lord of my castle..common Sense would tell Me to tell my troops to go inside the catacombs as soon as they are made...never know when a fire bomb would come and destroy everything I built.

If i understand this only units PURCASED OR RESURECTED IN BLACK MARKET (with saphires) are going directly to catacombs. This is stupid. If i buy or resurect units that means im online because there is no other way to do it ,so if i whant them in catacombs i can send them there my self. We need update that send ALL purcased units including those that we build in with resources

Actually, why can't we control via settings or options in the various sources of our troops where they spawn? We may want to change it from time to time. It would be great, for example, if a return raid party could be directed to the combs so we don't have to wait around for their return to protect them. Or to have defense spawn to keep and offense to catacombs while pending the arrival of a raid, and then have them all go to combs when that threat has passed.

Simple check box [ ] to catacomb on each entry in the queue or tracked troop movement would get the interface done.

Now if only my freshly trained troops could be put there as well.  I am tired of training troops overnight only to find them gone from a raid.  such a waste of resources.

My Lords, the idea here is that some actions should be performed manually and in real time. Yes, many actions can be automated, but that's not the idea

If new units that got made was sent directly to the catacombs, it would encourage players that might have more casual approach to it. If you keep log in and find all you tried to make since last time is trashed and gone. People usually grow tierd of such fast. Imagine you go back from work every day and find your house trashed, day after day. Fun aint it?
