So much for getting 30% back. If you just win you only get back the surviving troops. In My case 1 pikeman. I did get 19 dragons and 4 griffins for the loss of 133 dragons, 30 wyverns 48 knights, 300+ infantry.

Seems I would have been better off losing

Oh, I am fully awake, and by the sounds of the mass crying, so are all the alts.  This is a gigantic step towards curbing the problem of alts, and those who are running tons of them are now posting LOUDLY.

I wonder how this is going to effect the current beacon wars.........  how many leagues are now going belly up because their one hit alt wonders are soon to be worthless.

you don't need battlegrounds to play and build an army.  You do need them to run tons of alts and build armies by not having to recruit real players.  bye bye alt leagues.

This is an awesome change and I for one applaud Plarium on finally doing something to help control the alt infestation and the problem they have created.

Every time i see an upgrade on news hairs on my neck stand up as in " Oh crapp im screwed again " but i think this one needs more time to be judged. and to people who lost units and got small rewards : if it was the same as b4 you could have ZERO rewards by now, i think we just need to wait to see if a big reward shows up. as for alts this wont change anything its just a matter of time to find best way to BGs and everyone will get back to business

This does not make payouts more consistent at all.  If you need X-amount of units to fill up a bank and get a big reward, you still need the same X-amount regardless of whether or not you now get a percentage back with each bg.  This just means that a smaller percentage of your forces can be loaded up per bg, so you have to work harder.

It also hurts the lower-level bg players.  A low-level bg now is less likely to return high-level forces.

Yes it does (well most of it does anyways, there is usually some small % loss). 

I feel bad for people who spent weeks pre-loading BGs with the hope of clearing a high level one for a big reward...you will NEVER get that payout. the "don't worry, you will get a big payout at some point" line from Plarium is hilarious! Like the time a bunch of people bought Saps for the epic sale they announced that never happened:) The good news: it is an alt killer, and that is fantastic. It's nice to know that the next time some Alt Lord sends 15 attacks at me from 15 of his alts at the same time I can just wipe them all and that's the end of that. 

I think the rewards are going to be very similar  with a few small crappy rewards before you build up enough for a big one. They just made it a pain to yellow line BGs, what previously took two waves and 1 calculation, requires 4 waves and 3 calculations to get the most out of under sending of troops. Offence BGs are going to be even more guesswork, having 30% of your noble troops being cowards now =P

Actually its even worse then that, now its harder to prepare a defense reward or an offence reward, as tracking rewards is harder and you get some rewards on BGs you don't want a reward on. The only positive thing is that it promotes that any BGs regardless of lvl will pay back over time, which many people do not believe but is actually true.

That's 2kisk versus at the very least 150k (the BG is just under orange status).

came was made to complicated by hiding the attack strength on offensive bgs ...i wont be buying any sapphires again ..you are heading down the same path as evony did ..They managed to ruin a great game you doing the same here,to many complex equations on bgs and only interested in the £ AND $..i have attacked lv 55 bgs and lost millions over the weeks what will be my reward now 5 archers????

This is post update. You will still get big rewards but how and when we have to find out. Its a new system. Just give it some time to analyse and i am sure we will find a way.

Judging by that report I'd say you haven't found it yet.  nice payout tho. 

The guy had banked a few already pre update. he banked a few more to get the above one. The point being, the bank hasn't been taken away. What one had previously put in is there just need to take it back properly. From now on you need to compute more accurately when you are going to extract a reward. I am sure you would have understood what i am trying to say ;) Its just that many players have been taken aback by the sudden updates and is skeptical about the new system.

To further test the updates, we tried hitting BGs starting with zero bank or rather fresh bank. this is the latest hit on a mid level BG. The idea was to not kill any BGs but to keep building the bank upto the target level and then kill the target BG. Tried it a few times and it works. Thanks to my friend for testing it out for me

Perhaps I am being exceptionally stupid, but I still don't grasp why this measure has any impact on alts.
