New Feature – Free Boosts!

Increase Your Castle’s Power Faster! Lords and Ladies of Stormfall!

The Elders of Stormfall are delighted to declare the release of a brand new feature that shall revolutionize the development of your Castle – Free Boosts!

With Free Boosts, you can now do the following faster than ever:

• Construct and Upgrade Buildings

• Discover and Upgrade Lost Arts

• Discover and Upgrade Dragon Arts

• Sell and Upgrade Equipment Items

Whenever one of the processes above has less than 5 minutes remaining, you shall be able to complete the rest of that process INSTANTLY for FREE!

To instantly finish any of the given processes, pay attention to the timer that tells you how long that process has left to run.

If the process has less than 5 minutes remaining, the button next to the progress bar shall read “Free”. Clicking on this shall complete the process instantly, allowing you to move onto your next project.

Take advantage of this fantastic opportunity to make your Castle the most formidable in the land!

If it take me over a week to upgrade something. I don't really care much about saved 5 minutes to complete.

If however this would be like 5% time or less remaning and you could auto complete, it would scale to the level of the job.

Agreed.

This seems more focused on allowing new players to instantly get buildings to a minimum level. Maybe that isn't a bad thing given that 90% of players appear never to get to past wooden castle stage.

Marketed like it is above, as a large benefit to all player, expect there will be lots of comments like Gad's.

DjMoody is right, it's more beneficial for low-level players who'd just started the game. Actually when I played mobile version I used free boosts a lot

I like the option of cutting time off of a high level build. Totally worth it.

Oops... wrong thread for this - thought I was posting in the one about the Embassy upgrades.

maybe too little too late, but a good idea.

in precious games this was a very beneficial feature for player retention.  you could get up and running faster, and by the time the 5 minutes was no longer beneficial you were ready to grind.

Yes, we loved this feature 2 years ago on the Kabam.com servers - wonder what took you so long to add it here hahaha

How about adding this 5 minute free boost to troop build queue - we found that very useful on kabam too

Selling Hero equipment in 2 minutes instead of 7 minutes is a nice touch tho :)

I agree with the Lady, even if it is for another thread. Four days to upgrade a townhouse gets boring, even with three craftsmen. Getting help with it not only speeds development but also encourages more league interactions.

I think the word "free" is badly used with this game. :)

All free-to -play games require either grinding if you have plenty of time, or spending some money to compete with TOP players. However, you can choose not to be a TOP player, but a casual player. Then you won't have to spend too much time on the game, but you will need to understand that this way you can never become a TOP player.

Sad, but true. I've played many games that have the same business model.

Of course there are some games without any in-game purchases, which are totally free to p[lay. However, I didn't play any of them, so I don't even know their titles.

In like warships, you can spend cash to gain xp faster, or buy ships to skip ahead, but it doesn't make you any better player. The ships you can buy isn't "uber" just mean you save a lot of grinding. Which is completely fine. What you got in Stormfall is either spend a ton of cash or get bent, because there is no real grinding to compensate. And people who spend like a ton of cash on things like big hammers.. well they can ruin the day of A LOT of players. See the combined efforts of entire leagues crumble due to pay2win, is just... terrible.
