No, we already discussed about that before a year on Forum. Conclusion, that is not reward, that is simple payout.

Game is good but horribly weighted towards attack. For instance for me to successfully with out massive losses attack a level 8 attack BG I need only about 15k worth of attack power. However to attack a level 4 defence BG I need about 60k worth of defence power... for someone who is at level four that is 2841 dwarves (at base defence strength) for instance... Isn't that a bit much?

Hey I did some trial and error attacks and found some numbers for you.

At level 4 for instance if you are doing a defensive BG you will need at least 62.5k worth of defensive power that is approximately 3290 elven archers or 2841 dwarves (using base defence powers).... build up little ones!!! build build build 

now however; if you were inclined to only do attack BGs you're in luck!!! 

if you want to do say a level 8 attack BG you will need at least 15k worth of attack power (that's doable) that is approximately 375 pikemen or 250 Paladins .... about ten percent as many for twice the size of the BG so the lesson for all people according to the numbers for every attack piece you build, build 20 defensive pieces... and build build build 1000 men is not a big army lol

You are definitely doing something wrong - I have no idea where you get these numbers

A level 8 attack bg should only need 1200 strength (or send one dragon) and a level 4 defense bg only needs 210 strength (or send one griffin)
