My Lords and Ladies,

The Elders of the Realm have released three new Items to make your quest to rule Stormfall easier than ever before!

Behold!

- Offense and Defense Enhancers. If despite your best efforts, you fear that your army will not be strong enough to defeat certain worthy foes, these Items will be of great use to you! Use Offense and Defense Enhancers to temporarily improve the combat statistics of all your Units! Once these Items have been applied, keep an eye on them from the "My Items" window in the lower left corner of your screen.

- Battleground Hunt. This Item locates new Battlegrounds that might otherwise have been missed by the lookouts in your Eagle’s Nest! If you have conquered all your Battlegrounds for the day, this Item can be applied to uncover 5 more Offensive and 5 more Defensive ones. Take note: This is a single-use Item, and it can be applied once daily. The following day, your Eagle’s Nest will detect the standard number of Battlegrounds.

These Items can be found at the Black Market (Go to the "Special" section of the “Misc” tab).

Keep a watchful eye on the news, my Lord. New alchemical advances are constantly being made, so more innovations are sure to be available soon!

Its another gift to the pay to win crowd. Rather than try close the gap somewhat they just make it bigger. Doesn't really help retain players.

I agree that it is another motion for coiners,

That said recently Plarium has tried its best to help all players more so then ever before. They have been open about bugs and resolutions to them, as well as additional features such as the resource slider.

And although its only a once off and maybe not the best, the Halloween and thanksgiving rewards did not NEED to be handed out by Plarium.

for a one time thing, 400 saphires not that much, but the value of the booster, make it a more of a force multiplier. So you will have a group of players that will use it a lot, as they already coining a lot already.  I can fine afford to use such a booster now and then, but if it become more of a "norm" to use them. A lot of players end of get shafted imho.

I dont think I could maintain 400 sapphires, It is a push for coiners but once again, I think for the time being I will defend Plarium from my perspective, it is still strategy wins... Although that gap is closing and quickly

They also added a lot more items you can buy using soulstones, including some of these new items announced.  Beyond getting the soulstone scrolls, there's now a pretty good use for them: autohiders and offense and defense up, which can all be very useful; before it they weren't that useful beyond getting those scrolls.

Horrible horrible updates.

Confirms my worst fears about the underlying trend of the updates.

Now it's just completely unashamed pay to win purchasing.

To ruin BG events and make the winners purely about who pays the most money for +5's it utterly cynical. Sad to say but this game and this developer is reaching a point at which they deserve no customers....

And the +20% items are just as bad. Game is totally unbalanced now between pay to win players and everyone else. Very very sad.

Everyone has a right to an opinion. No one has a right to their opinion being respected by other if it can't be backed up with rational and logic explanation

Think of it this way.

Normal players spend months and tons of resources to upgrade there Lost arts to lvl 20 for the 40% boost.

But with this change, coiners can have 20% extra boost at anytime they want. And 20% + the paragon boost 24/7  gives 10% more with an extra 30% boost to the coiners all time.

And Mehnslayer  said " it is still strategy wins... Although that gap is closing and quickly" - what makes u think coiners doesn't use much strategy as the normal players.  and how is the gap any closer between Normal and coiners?

Think he meant the gap is getting bigger, because that is the reality. The tools available for those that can spend a lot get bigger. and the ones that can't afford to spend as much or not any at all see themselfs get parked.

While these items are in the black market to be purchased with Sapphires, they are also available for the Soulstones.

In fact we'd rather have players buy them for the Soulstones.

Err, lets just pretend I can English... Thanks :(

I was trying to say that the gap between normal players and coiners is increasing slowly, and that strategy is not as big of a factor as it use to be (that said its still a factor) the difference between normal players using strategy and coiners using it, is coiners can always have a 20% increase, say for example with beacons it practically cancels out level 4 beacon defense.

I am not saying that coiners dont use strategy, and im not saying that its impossible to win without coining, however a clear gap has been made.
