What should the units bring from raids

Hi all. I would like to suggest to be able to say the units what resource to take the most from raids.

I have recently scouted a city with a plenty of resources, but my storages are full and I need only grain, because my granaries are almost empty. I have no choice. If I could say them "I need only food, so take the food first and than if there is free space, you can take other resources" Isn`t than a good idea?

Obviously, every one of us wants to be able to select which resources we get from raids, but every player also wants no raid limit for himself, no resource limit, faster travel times etc etc etc.. I feel suggestions of this type pursue individual needs and simply try to make the game easier, without considering what it'll do to the community as a whole. It probably would completely upset the balance, as most people will clear out bronze (Sparta is dominated by offensive troop builders).  From there, the entire game economy might get completely messed up.

I agree with Astyanax. Unfortunately, we can't implement this suggestion, as it's not good for our game balance.

My men are hungry and due to long march into the wild need Women to dance for them and plenty of wine (at least watered). The bronze they gather goes to their masters..They complain!

If you want grain put your timber or bronze up for trade it will be gone in minutes .

FWIW - I'm constantly putting timber and bronze (bronze mostly right now as i'm prioritising def units) in exchange for grain and you are right - it always get snapped up ... even at a very favourable exchange rate for me :)

*Stroke of genius*

You will allow raids to steal 1% or so of the victim's drachmas (maybe depending on the number of scrolls you put on it, because yes you will add a tab in the academy to increase it).

This way, there will be many more fighting and thus money spending, which is your only goal in life.

Now, this is a registered idea, if you use it you owe me 7000 drachmas, 60 scrolls, 20 war elephants, 100 sketches and a 80% off promo on 10 towers.

All the best

I'm not sure that other Archons will support stealing Drachmas...

I actually wouldn't like this at all either lol. I guess the strongest (understand richest) players might like it though, which is your major concern, isn't it ? :)
