I would say the answer is 30 x sword  there is nothing in this problem that proves what value should be attached to the single sword therefor it must be left as an unknown numeric value.  Making an assumption about the crossed sword being twice the value of the single sword is an error there is no reason that the single sword could not be assigned a totally different value - What if one Sword = pi for instance? Crossed swords must equal 2 but single sword is an unknown.  30 sword is the answer
