Leonidas once leapt onto a powder keg to shield innocents from danger…

One day, Persians threw a powder keg in an Infantry Camp. Without hesitation, Leonidas smothered the keg with his body in a desperate bid to save dozens of people, even at the expense of his life. The wick went out, the Persians were eliminated, and Leonidas proved his strength of character.

Or simply extinguished the wick. Perhaps he's not the sharpest tool in the shed. :-)
