Make a guess and get a chance to win 1,000 Drachmas!

Look at the red stain on Leonidas’s armor. Is it wine or blood of the Persians?

One of the Archons to answer correctly shall win the Drachmas!

I encountered persian blood many times and I'm sure it's not like that.

It's wine. Unless there are other choices.

It is persian blood..!Because it's on his arms...

If it was on his beard or chest...then it would have been wine :)

It is Persian blood because the great Leonidas is not a drunkard + there is currently a position tournament + wine would flow down his arm and not coagulate as it does here :)

its persians blood, you do not let wine get wasted :p

Meh, looks like Wine but its most likely blood. Unless...some persian threw wine at you, you slashed his neck and there is both blood AND wine on your arm

The red on his arm really looks like blood but the question is the stain on his armor.

The blood looks fresh which makes sense because there's an ongoing persian position tournament. But the stain on his armor looks like it's already there before the battle.

Maybe they're drinking wine then suddenly persians attack them and his comrades accidentally splashed the wine on Leonidas' armor. So I'll stick with my first answer. It's wine.

Hello; I think it's blood; for the shape of the drops and the way of running down the arm; also it is coagulated.

We all know that saying: Blood is thicker than wine... or water? Let's not go into details :) Or maybe we actually should? Question is about stain on his armour, not stain on his arm. And yes, stain on his armour does look like wine. I'm curious to find out what is the story behind that

Choose your enemies carefully 'cause they will define you. Make them interesting, 'cause in some ways they will mind you. They're not there in the beginning but when your story ends. Gonna last with you longer than your friends

Simple, I think wy san luis and I have come to the same conclusion; during the Persian position tournament, you and your comrades were drinking wine, then Persians attack...comrade accidentally spills wine on Leonidas's armor but Basileus doesn't care about it and attacks anyway slashes some Persians down and their blood gets on his arm.
