Abandoned Coalitions

There are so many abandoned low level coalitions is there any way for a regular member to request to plarium to take over a coalition as Hegemon that is no longer in use? Unable to make contact with original coalition Hegemon. I think it would be great if a coalition Hegemon has not logged in for so many days that coalition should be eligible to be taken over by another interested member.

Every coalition where the hegemon became inactive can be taken over by another member of that coalition.

At the start it was an absence time from the hegemon for about 1 month. Then the members of that coalition could send a request to gamesupport with a name of the 'new' hegemon for that coalition.

It's not that a player outside that coalition can take over that coalition.

I tried to contact support but they direct me to the forums. Can I submit the name of the Coalition that is inactive and my username so as to become the Hegemon? The coaliton is "Ravens of Alba" and username is Drusilla. I want to have access to coalition features so I can upgrade number of members, re-do the description ect.

it's normally a request to game support. They are the only one that can change the hegemon, so in your case, changing W444 as current into you as new one.

Be aware that you gonna need a lot of resources also to expand your coalition. it's 20K resources each to upgrade for the 10 next new members and the prices go everytime up by the next 10 members. You end up for the last 10 new members with 200K resources each (= 200K wood, 200K bronze and 200K grain).

I sent a request to support so hopefully they will make the change.  I'm pretty familiar with how it works so it's not a problem. I really like this Coalition name and Logo and would really like to keep it going.

I sent a message to support but unfortunately support only gives you a few select choices to choose from regarding your concern. Most of the choices refer you back to the forum to state your concern so I don't know if anyone will be able to deal with my issue or not. Is their any tech person here on the forums that can handle my concern or at least take it directly to the appropriate person?

Problem is I'm basically the only active member so voting is pointless? It's pretty much a ghost town. It was formed I believe in February.

Press the 'support' button from your game.

Then scroll immediatelly down --->  Haven’t found a solution to your query in any of these channels? Then please contact us directly by filling out this form.  ---> press 'contact us'   and then take "account management'.

And then you send the request to be the new hegemon of that coalition

Got a reply but now they tell me that because I am a scholar I cannot be promoted to Hegemon. I can't believe they cannot bypass that. What a waste of a coalition so now it just sits there with no active members but me.

Hello, just contact the support ! As far as I know, it must be voted by other members which are active..Now in your case that all are inactive, oh well..YOu should contact support to tell you exactly what to do.

This can be abused by people to get coals for free...So it's kinda hard when are 0 active members :(

Here is a thought.

Drop your coin and create your own.

Problem solved. It will cost you less than changing the name and banner any ways. And you can rest well at night knowing that you are not begging for a handout.

Since if you are changing all that you just want a quick way to start your own at no expense with no regards for others in the league whether they seem currently active or not.

Anywho just my 2 cents.

I dropped enough coins in this game already. As far as your assumption of me begging for a free handout the fact is I simply like the name and logo already the way it is so why change it? the coalition has ZERO active members so why not take it over? And we all know how starting a new coalition works Hmmm...I think there is already a thread on this. I'm sure Plarium could bypass any rules they wanted but they won't because they just want people to spend money. My city has been bought and paid for so personally I think Plarium should have no problem to do this simple task. By the way, It's not like I am asking to inherit some coalition with a level 15 Capital or owns 3 Pantheons give me a break. This coalition has 9 inactive members, ranked over 1,000, level ZERO Capital and no Pantheons. If I was asking for a handout I'm pretty I would be smart enough to ask for a better one. Nice try though.

True.

But someone else's coin created it. And type rules are simple inthemaker returns. Evenafter a new head is assigned by vote. Then the original mauler can rightfully claim that titleback.

So in retrospect. Lets say they say . yes. And you build it . and a year from now the creator comes back... They can reclaim the coalition. That is  proxy when a vote is made as compared to when somehands tie reigns over willingly.

How would  feel then about all your hard work to turn it into something? When the creator comes back and reclaims the coalition?

Best to create your own and prepare to bump what ever all call your fort to lvl 5 after being built.

I think it's pretty obvious when a player has no interest in resuming a coalition that;s been dead since February. This is why there are so many dead coalitions floating around. You say how fair is it to the original Hegemon but how fair is it to the members who depend on you to run the coalition and have invested their time and effort contributing to it. Plarium has a simple rule. If the original Hegemon is inactive for a period of time a new one can be appointed. I agree with that and that is what Plarium mailed to me. but to say they cannot go into the system and make a scholar the new Hegemon because their are no other active players is plain idiotic. These are programmers and they can do what they want.

May I ask, did you know the previous hegemon?  There should be safeguards in place from plarium to avoid having gypsies look for coalitions with inactive hegemons and just take someone else's creation.

I think if anyone want's to run a coalition and it is not handed to them by the creator, plarium should make the requesting member pay 2000 drachma like it would cost to start your own.

Very nice Suggestion Rix.! Could you please suggest it on the 'suggestion thread'? I am pretty sure our devs will accept it.

But where would these 2000 drachma's go ? To Plarium Games or to the original owner ?

And what compensation must be payed to the original owner for all the resources he/she used to have that amount of members ?

Strange that moderator Prometheus is so sure that Plarium Games would accept that suggestion, before even thought of every aspect of it. It would just be an extra income for Plarium Games, like they charge the players not enough already ....
