How to activate Universal Boosts?

Hi. I hope I'm asking this in the right place. If not, please redirect me. Thx.

In my couple of weeks in Sparta so far, I have accumulated a bunch of Universal Boosts (mostly very short of course). However, I can't figure out how to activate them. They in the Market, misc. tab, under 'Boosts'. But unlike other stuff I get that shows up in the Market, there is no 'apply' button. In fact, the only button is purchase, and I wasted some drachmae trying that, only to find that it added to my free collection of boosts, and took my drachmae.

I've tried waiting till I had no other boosts going, such as a grain boost or a domination active, but even when I have nothing active at all, there is no option to use the universal boosts.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hello Archon,

These boosts have nothing to do with resource boosts. Resourse boosts are only used to improve your resource production.

As for the universal boosts you can use them practically for every unit that returns to your city, whether your troops are coming back from the capital, a pantheon, a raid you have sent to get resources or attack an enemy, a siege that you have sent to someone sieges. You can also use them to recall your galleys faster if they have travelled to a faraway destination.

Here are my returning troops from a pan: http://prntscr.com/eh843i

When I click on my returning troops I automatically get transferred to Tracking tab where you can see all your troops leaving your city or returning to your city. So when you click there you will see that: http://prntscr.com/eh8541

Once you click on the recall button a window with your universal boosts will open as below:
http://prntscr.com/eh879c

As you can see the total time needed for my units to come back to my city is 54:24. So if I click apply on a 5 min boost my troops will be back to my city on 49:24. If I apply a 10 min boost my troops will return to my city in 39:24. If I apply a 15 min boost the time will be reduced to 24:24 and so on. Boosts are useful but I would suggest not using them all the time especially now that you are new to the game.

If you don't want to go to your Tracking tab you can click on the Return now button http://prntscr.com/eh8f58 and the boost window will pop up instantly!

Those boosts can also be used the same way as was mentioned above to reduce the time needed for agreements being signed.

When you click on the boost button http://prntscr.com/eh8asg the window with your universal boosts will pop up. If you apply a 5min boost the time of the agreement being signed will be reduced by 5 minutes etc.

Last but not least those boosts also apply to upgrading your buildings. You can click on the boost button as you can see here http://prntscr.com/eh8cj1 if you want to boost your buildings to upgrade them faster.

Good game to you!

Hello Archon

You can apply to boost your signing speed, just hit the green box...

Speed up your units training, same way, hit the green box...

and boost your travel speed, but only the ones on the way home...
