Recent PVPs have been generating less than 10 percent of expected points

A glitch seems to have occurred with the awarding of PVP points over the last few days and I am receiving less than 10% of the points I would normally  expect. I have lost  around 1.5 million in defence over the last few days but received very little return in points even though on checking the attackers' level numbers and general strength I see that most of them are weaker. Ordinarily I would expect to receive about 10 points per phalanx lost when attacked by players of the same strength and about 25 points per phalanx if the player is weaker. If it is a very powerful player whose general's armour is 40% or 50% and if they apply all their boosts then maybe I would expect to get only about half to two thirds of the normal points, but I have not been getting even that. I have checked with coalition members in case it was happening to others. I thought maybe Plarium has changed things and is awarding less points than before. But it seems it is only happening to me. Looking at coalition stats I see that another member with a similar level of defence in the pantheon and who like me has won most of their points from pantheon defence has received twice as many points as I have and other players with half the level of defence that I have have won a similar number of points. And they are not more advanced in their treaties or general armour or elixirs. If the cause were a change in the points awarding system or if it were because the attacking players were more powerful than expected then everyone in the coalition would receive only a fraction of their usual points. But as it is only happening to me there must be a glitch. Not only am I being awarded far less points than is normal for the small sizes of attack and great strength of my defence but I am also losing more troops than would be expected. And not only am I losing more troops for less return, but the game seems to be selectively making me lose more of the valuable troops like veterans even when there are less of them, whereas ordinarily the game makes you lose the same proportion of troops in each category. So if you had, for example 600 mounted peltasts and 400 veteran mounted peltasts and just 25 veteran legates and you were to lose 0.5% of your total or one in 200 troops, you would expect to lose 3 mounted peltasts, 2 veteran mounted peltasts and no veteran legates, but instead you lose 3 veteran legates, 5 veteran mounted peltasts and only one ordinary mounted peltast, like the game is deliberately taking out your strongest troops and on top of that only giving you a tenth of the normal points. And this is from waves of relatively weak attacks that would normally only make you lose one soldier per group of 600 or more and this is still the case for most players with a similar level of troops to me. It's just me who is being disproportionately robbed of my fewer stronger troops and being awarded disproportionately low points.

Hi! I don't think it's a glitch. You get less points if your losses were too small. It may happen if you are defending and your enemies send small attacks.

Ordinarily when attacking pantheons certain enemies send waves of small attacks with several hundred light troops and a few heavier attacks and whether the attacks have been heavy or light one still normally receives the appropriate amount of points for each fallen defence unit. So if a defending player only loses one mounted peltast and one thureophorus they will only earn 15 points for the mounted peltast and 10 points for the thureophorus, a total of 25, or maybe 50 to 75 points if they are lucky and their opponent's treaties are weak, and if it's a heavier attack and a player loses 60 cavalry and 60 phalanges then they will gain 60 x 15 points for the cavalry and 60 x 10 pts for the phalanges, giving a total of 900 pts for the cavalry and 600 pts for the phalanges or 1500 in total and if the attacker is weaker then maybe double that, and if the opponent is slightly stronger then slightly less but not much less. My point is that, even taking into account that some of the attacks kill only a few troops, I am still receiving only 8 to 10 % of the expected points PER UNIT fallen. So whether the attack on the pantheon is light or heavy and I lose only one unit or 100 I still normally earn between 8 and 25 points PER PHALANX LOST and from 12 to 37 points PER CAVALRY UNIT LOST. Instead, these last few days I am receiving only about ONE POINT PER CAVALRY OR PHALANX LOST. Even a political attack on a city gives more points than that and everybody knows political attacks give a dire return in points. So when the return in points per fallen unit is only half of what even a political attack would bring then you know there is something seriously wrong. To prove it, players defending the same pantheon with the same or less troops than me in the pantheon are losing the normal amount of troops expected in proportion to the strength of the attack and are earning the expected amount of points per unit lost, whereas I am losing more troops than one would expect for the size of the attacks and also earning less points per unit loss. It's as if some sort of personal debuff was used against me to rob me of over 90% of my points and therefore rewards. But I know that can only be applied to whole coalitions, not individuals, so another coalition would not be capable of doing that, and certainly not to the extent of 90+%.

If you have noticed that you no longer receive the same amount of points as before, please report it here: https://plariumsupport.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
