How long are your training queues? (500 Dr. for top three!)

Many players boast of their months-long training queues, others favour short queues giving one the opportunity to quickly react to "shortages" of a specific type of offensive or defensive unit.

  •  How long is your queue?

  • Are you comfortable with that?

  • What would you suggest to a new player?

Let us know!

Cheers
P.

EDIT (03.05.17): The three brave posters with the highest count in a training category will be awarded 500 Drachmas (please supply screenshots) - Rewards will be distributed on the last day of this month.

for me it's hard with the resources ..because  i also sign/upgrade agreements ..and those  take a lot of resouces ..so i had  like in queque  troups for   one day ...hoplite , mounted peltast, trojan thorakites  and archers  ..  it's an pain of the a.ss to  gain resources  to do that ...

To a new player a will suggest to upgrade the facilities ... and to do all raids  to get  resources

Indeed, resource creation and collection is a challenge, especially in the early stages of the game, and your above advice holds true not only for Sparta but for most building and war games; reminiscent of James Carville's, Bill Clinton's campaign strategist's iconic (mis)quote "It's the economy, stupid!". :-)

mine used to be over 20 days but I ran them down and now keep them at about 5 days max so I can easily boost through and build what I need in an emergency

Perhaps if I only built an offense, as some players apparently do, it would make some sense, but even so ...

That's about my take as well, replenishing individual both off. and def. units, especially light and heavy inf. which have a low life expectancy in my city, would otherwise be an impossibility

I keep mine on 6-7-8 days..when I have extra resources I give it to my teammates who are weaker and could use more res to build.

152 days in all 4 buildings!

Though the new Chronos quests where you have to train army do not favor players with long queue training.

By the way, when we released new quests on FB, some people weren't happy that they have long queues ;) as one of the quests requires training certain Units

Well its ok, by the time these new features are implemented on plarium server these queues are going to be long finished for sure. In fact I believe that even if I personally had double the army in my queue these quests would be just a theoretical aspect in this server.

Zenekin and Xena, have you both put enough defensive units in the middle of the upgrades, as you know you would not be able to stop the building process(but boost is always there).

Though i really like the length of the queues you both have.

Even if I wanted to stop building troops I couldn't. I don't even raid anymore due to my high production per hour. I only raid for grain! I don't really mind about the quests though sometimes that's the only one left in order to get the daily reward. But what can we do? I wouldn't trade my building queues that's for sure!
