Miscellaneous game play questions

A few questions have come to mind as I continue to learn more about Sparta WOE. Any insights would be appreciated.

1. When trading treaty articles or resources, does the speed you have worked up to (via the Lighthouse, etc) only help the galley you are sending, not the galley being sent to you? This seems logical, but rather wastes the effort of working to improve one's speed.

2. The coalition search is great, but is there any way to search for archons (cities)? Sure would help, to keep lists compact when noting the scouting/raiding/etc one is doing.

3. Is there any way to see the units that are coming to raid or besiege you? Perhaps some special item available in the marketplace, or a skill for high level generals, or whatever?

4. Haven't had a chance to test this ingame yet, so perhaps someone knows: if you trade via galley, and become FB friends while the galleys are en route, does your travel time get cut by a factor of 24 (or at all)?

Guess that's enough for one post. Thanks!

  1. Yes, speed upgrades and bonuses apply only to one's own ships.

  2. Only by coordinates (or in the coalition member list if one knows the coalition name)

  3. You (and I) wish, but no.

  4. Don't know since I'm not logged on via FB, my guess would be no since most upgrades and bonuses (of all types and kinds) are applied at the time an order is issued.

Cheers
