For my self, Denarii was the most epic update!
Denarii is a very important resource so you can build roman units in your military buildings.
You need to unlock the 'Argos' agreement first to unlock the building 'Argentarium'. From there you can produce denarii at the cost of timber/bronze.
Afterwards, you must unlock the roman agreements to be able to build them. You can purchase the agreements with GPS that you earn from tours:)
The roman Agreements are: Capua, Massilia, Genova, Ephesus, Pompeii, Cannes,Antioch and Rome.
The units that cost Denarri are very powerful!
