Give orders to troops from wherever they are

Hi, why do we need to recall our troops to our home base first before we can send them elsewhere?

Why can't we send our troops to a base (friendly or enemy) to await our orders there. It should be possible to gice troops orders wherever they are, at the homebase or elsewhere.

In that way we could send our troops to a safehouse first or to a base nearby a next target.... When the troops are waiting at another base, they are visible for UAV and can be attacked, but they can not be sent home by the owner of that base.

I have wondered the same thing, but when you look at it would it be fair to reinforce a base near a raid target, then raid from there? no cause that's a much shorter notice the target gets considering they have no idea you have units there plus its a shorter time your troops take to get there when you add reinforcement time and raid time together, that's why I think it would make more sense if you can raid from any position you occupy, whether it be a depot or a base, they can see you own it and know you have something there and stand a more fair chance

The game would become more strategic and more difficult. Because of the possible threat in the bases nearby your own base, you will be forced to recon those bases on a regular basis. Only to detect if troops are stationed there. And the time to respond will indeed be very short. But that can be countered by sending reinforcements to evry member of your own combine. Shared defense.

I just made a post about this today and am surprised that someone already addressed this topic. I agree with you. Would you be so kind as to visit my discussion and tell me what you think about my ideas? plarium.com/forum/en/soldiers-inc/suggestions-and-feedback/topics/unit-relocation/" target="_blank">http://plarium.com/forum/en/soldiers-inc/suggestions-and-feedback/topics/unit-relocation/

This is Commander Smith of AREA 597. You are now in the custody of the most lethal F.O.B. on Zandian soil. Refusal to cooperate will be met with the appropriate level of force. You don't have the right to remain silent.

Also to add to the first thread. While the host base cannot order the troops to leave, they can drive them out using force.

Commander..This idea has been submitted to the developers for consideration..The developers have a very difficult job..They must first make sure that the game remains "balanced"...Working out the Mechanics for any new addition is very difficult and time consuming...Please be patient and we will see what developes...good luck to your idea
