Do you think: the black market should change prices or wait for the discount package?!

Do you think we should increase prices?

¿Usted piensa: el mercado negro debe cambiar precios o esperar el paquete del descuento ?!

If the truth a little expensive, the strategists is one thing, but more than anything the normal armament.
Without discount I do not buy or crazy.

Commander...The discounts are generated at random and personally I think it inject a little excitement and anticipation into the game...I , like you, just purchase when there is a discount

Commander..You raid for resources and rebuild your Army..Maybe you get lucky and a 75% troop revival comes around while your units are still in the "sick bay"..But..Soldiers is a strategy game, you develop a working strategy for unit build...Some bunker all the good units received from S/D and only send Foot Soldiers to their death in an S/D..that is a strategy that will effect your Army in the course of game play..Others build a lot of Foot soldiers and send them on raids..You'll be surprised at what 5-7k Recons can do..

Commander..Nothing, in my opinion, beats resources buildings..I rely upon mine a lot..especially if I am in a conflict and do not want to risk my units sitting on the yard..How long to rebuild if you lose 10 - 20 Million?..I lost 20 million 3 weeks ago...I am back up by 6 mill. Thanks tp steady building..steady production of resources..and S/D...I built a lot of foots..sent them to S/D and brought home tanks/choppers which are sitting snuggly in my bunker

Commander..You are aware that some boost..such as the base defense boost or the defense enhancer can be purchased in the Black Market using IPs..IPs are given away as part of some event rewards

in my opinion some of the black market items are overpriced but looking at it from plariums perspective they want people to buy diamonds and spend money, for example referrals are crazy expensive and take way to long to acquire but this is their way of drawing in people to play their game for a long time, you either wait it out; one year to get all the referrals (and if you think about it most people don't have the patience for that)  or you spend lots of diamonds.when items are really overpriced and go on discount it makes people want to buy diamonds. it always comes down to marketing and what's best for business and you will get this with any game that you will play. I'm not defending plarium  but I'm just saying that items will be priced on demand of that said item and some items need to be at the price that they're at because of that demand. ask yourself are black market items overpriced or.... do you just want a discount

from a player's perspective I love a discount as much as the next guy in fact I only buy when there's a discount, what I am suggesting is keep  the black market items at the price they are but give better discounts one or two good ones a month are better than a bunch of very crappy ones like a 20% off executive points every other week is absolute crap in my opinion who's going to buy that and if you're at executive 10 what's the point in buying it maybe just do it once a month but do 50% off. I know plarium does not even give 20% off but this was just an example.I think this is a way better solution then just lowering the prices.

LIGHTSWORD...Very well said Sir...All discounts are generated at random..Some are not that good, while if you wait, one will come around that you just can not pass up..I recently got a 65% off all units..Needless to say , I purchased the max amount I could at that discount..Now, I'll wait till another great deal comes by..Half the fun for me is the wait/anticipation of a great offer...

For me personally: waiting for a great deal isn't half the fun, or even 1% of it.

For me: using troops to hit other troops is the fun, and anything else is just waiting for, or building to, having the fun.

The Black Market, and all it holds, is only relevant to the extent it facilitates getting into battle.

If I want to have shopping excitement, I will go to ebay or Amazon.

For this reason: I think that anything that helps people recover reasonably fast from a large loss is good for the game.

You don't want the recovery to be so fast that attacking is pointless, but you also don't want someone to quit every time 2 armies meet.

Thus I feel that black market prices should be more reasonable, so that things there are attainable, and not just when on sale.

On the other hand, things you buy just once at most (like referrals) should not be lowered.

Things like the random relocate, should be cheap enough to buy once a day.

The controlled relocate should be attainable at least once a week for the average player.

This would contribute to a more lively and dynamic game. More activity would translate into more funds for the game provider.

Hi there!

From community side, we have a very limited impact on prices. Several departments work on their balance and they rely more on specific data and analytics than on players' suggestions. Unfortunately, it’s not a part of the game our players can affect directly or pass suggestions about some changes to it.

As I work with players directly, I really want them to feel happy with our games, and I always pass their suggestions. But there are some things, which we can't affect from our side: prices, Special Offers, Rewards, balance calculations, S/Ds mechanics, and many other things.

But while being limited in opportunities, we can do our best to improve things that we can improve.

I understand you are working with limited authority, and that there are things you can not change.

This does not diminish my respect for you 1 bit.

The opening post asked if we thought the prices should be lower, and I answered that point, as well as supporting why I think it is a good idea.

The old saying "If you don't ask, you wont get" is true for a lot of things, but it doesn't mean the opposite is true. You can ask and still not get.

At the end of the day, I think it is healthy that players ask for what they want, but also good that they learn to play the game they have instead of waiting for the game to become the game they think would be ideal.

I've been trying to help improve the game, but also help people to play the game as it currently stands. (I do a lot more of the latter via the in game mail system.)

Thank you for your frank answer, and for the great deal of work you do that mostly goes unnoticed. (* insert salute emote here *)

Many thanks for understanding, Commander.

The old saying is true of course. And that's why we have many discounts and Special offers in the game. You've been heard ;)
