I felt been cheated and I m using my diamonds to upgrade the gate to level 4. But it did not function as per stated 7.5% increase. Been attacked and seems it did not function at all. I had been invested on many pax. Rgds

Commander...For base defense structures to work ..there must be defense out to protect your base..Defense structures are base defense bonus..not defense..that means they will boost the defensive ability/power of units protecting your base by their defense bonus points..For example..you have 1 sapper at defense strength of 26.9 that amount would be "boosted by 7,5%..or roughly 2% points making your sapper strength about 28.9

Mine spec op daily minimum level is above 60. It happened few times already. Seem not fair to me. And I had lost so much without a good payout. It has cost me buying 6 paxs in less than 2 weeks.

Commander..Gates and Walls(.as are all base improvements , , towers turrets and artillery )are a "base Defense bonus"..Meaning that you must have defense on you base at the time of the hit..The defense that you have on your base at the time of the hit is increased by the allowed % granted by your base defense bonus
