achievement "Reward for Rations received" unobtainable - Wrong count of rations received (IMHO)

I can not unlock the achievement named "Reward for Rations received" (tab: achievements > resources), because my hourly Rations production is negative.

This is ridiculous because though my production is negative, theoretically my Landing Zones should receive regular supplies every hour ... like any other base in Zandia.

If we imagine that this does not happen, as calculated by the game regarding that specific achievement (ie: if I do not receive supplies regularly) then my negative production would be even more negative than it is !!

Therefore I urge you to change ASAP the calculation criterion applied to rations.

You have to apply two opposite counters on this resource (which "fight" against each other) :

- one that subtracts resources (based on the population of the base)
- one that adds resources (based on the level of Landing Zones and other bonuses given by other buildings or equipments)

Obviously if the hourly production is negative, it wins the subtracting counter ... but that does not mean that there is no an "adding counter" on my rations value.

Therefore, the time line of my Rations value should change this way:

-1 -1 -1 -1 -1 -1 +1 -1 -1 -1 -1 -1 +1 -1 -1 -1 -1 -1 -1 -1 -1 -1 -1 +1 -1 -1 -1 -1 -1 -1 +1 -1 -1 -1 ...etc...

so, sometimes, I should see the value that increases instead of decreasing...

Conversely, you have applied only one counter.
It is ONLY positive or ONLY negative! ... based on the result of the following subtraction:

"food produced"  -  "food consumed"   =

+ xxx rations per hour (if the result is positive)

or

- xxx rations per hour (if the result is negative)

This is a false result that does not reflect the reality of the facts ! ! !

The truth is that my Landing Zones receive rations (therefore they produce rations!!), but I consume them faster than those that are delivered to me!

If you continue to adopt the current calculation criterion, you penalize those players who have struggled hard to build a large army!

This is not at all right !!

Sir there are many option in game to reduce your Ration Consumption...That will reduce the amount of Ration that your units consume..The ATC..Air Traffic Control tower,,, have the ATC maxed..also in the Training Center is the Ration Consumption Icon..located toward the bottom off to the right of the Zaam training icon..Upgrade the ration Consumption Icon to level 80..These things should reduce the amount of ration your units require..Good luck Sir..As for changing anything about the game you will have to submit your ideas to Support who will then pass them onto the developers for thier consideration..We do not possess the ability or technology at the forum level

My problem is not the negative production of rations, but the fact that the game considers my Landing Zones as if they did not receive rations ...

This is false !, as I explained in the previous post.

Because of this, I can not unlock the result that takes into account the amount of rations received (The game considers me as if I did not receive rations, at least as regards the unlocking of that result!).

In any case, I have already upgraded to the highest level all the things you mentioned.

At this point, the only way to recover a positive Rations production is to kill my army (and I don't want to do this) ...

But, I repeat again, I'm not interested in having a positive production (I'm fine with negative production), I'm just interested in getting justice and that the rations I get from my Landing Zones are normally counted !! (though my balance is negative!).

what should I do?

should I kill my army in order to unlock that result ?? ... Or do you intend to correct the calculation of rations, taking into account that I get them, although I consume a greater number of rations than I receive !??

Thank you for taking time and bringing this question to our attention.
I have investigated the reported situation. The results show that the case in question was not the result of any malfunction. This feature works as intended.
Please note that when you Rations consumption is higher than the Rations production, then the Rations are not transferred to your Field kitchen. Thus they are not counted towards the achievement.

Quite literally, this matter is part of a gameplay. I understand that the game is complex and it may be a daunting task to try to figure out how things work on your own. Our community an excellent platform to discuss all the game-related question, share experience, get game tips. Interacting with fellow players and moderators you will get your questions answered.

I know this is not the result of malfunction, but it's wrong !!

You should correct this!

As I said, theoretically I should receive rations from my Landing Zones, though the consumption is higher and therefore I can not increase the value of my Rations with my production (the value decreases only) but the production of rations Is still present in my base !!

You can not consider myself as not producing rations, just because I consume them faster than I produce them!

You have set the ration value only in an increase or decrease state, depending on whether the difference between production and consumption is negative or positive ...

In accordance with this system (wrong!), a player is considered as not producing rations if the difference in the above ratio is negative!

I am disappointed not to be able to unlock the achievement of rations, as well as I did for fuel and ammunition.

This is ridiculous.

I produce Rations !!!

I would just like to point out that in the real world: you don't go to the farm or supermarket and eat. The food gets to the kitchen before it is consumed.

Thus, even with a negative net growth, as happens in eating establishments around the world daily at meal times, there is still food delivered to and from the kitchen. The kitchen doesn't get bypassed.

Fundamentally Red-Terror is correct, and asking a player to wait until they finished this achievement before they seriously build their army is a poor recommendation. This is after all a war game, not city building. The objective should be to build the largest standing army, and not to run a useless surplus.

Putting it in other terms: Car companies have dealerships order vehicles, then build to order. Using the current game mechanism's counting system, these big manufacturers produce 0 cars because demand is equal to supply. Hopefully this shows how ridiculous this accounting system is so that it can finally be fixed.

"Functioning as intended" not withstanding. If it is functioning as intended, then the intent must also be in error, and it was to that end that I tried to highlight the problem in a meaningful way for you.
