missile defense system

I think it would be a good idea to add a missile defense system where you could either buy and arm missiles at your base that shoot down an incoming one, and/or creating an early warning system that will let you know when a missile is about to land and will bunker some of your troops for you

i love that idea. but a missle incoming takes max 3 min so early warning systems are of no use.

My engineers have several ideas about the missiles defense system, we are considering them.

a one time purchase Shield that cost to use it after purchase either resources or a small diamond fee and only prevents missile attack and last only a few mins each time it is used

The activated Executive Status should also offer around 25% off the missile damage. You would see much more people purchasing long term (days, week) executive activators.

IMO, the ways missile deployment works now takes away from the spirit of the game.  Too many so-called soldiers on here never actually fight but rather just sit in the bunker and keep tossing missiles.  Now I know of course that this is great for Soldiers INC as it means a lot of money spent on diamonds.

Perhaps missiles should only be able to be deployed in conjunction with an army of a minimum size, or something like that.  Basically something that allows for useful and truly strategic use of missiles, but still has the actual fighting of "soldiers."  It is called Soldiers Inc after all, not Missiles Inc lol.

They should be done away with all together. Forget a defense system, it's hard enough to try and defend against a coiner and 1000 Zaams and Thunderheads just to have your troops wiped out by 20 Tactical Missiles first. At least before the missiles you could hurt a coiner a bit. Now there is no choice but to bunker troops and let them raid you. Unless your talking about a defense system that completely negates missiles.

Hell yeah, I would be very ok if they got rid of missiles altogether as well.  I just don't see the powers that be doing that as it is another chance for people to spend their money on the sight.  I was trying to find another solution for IF they plan on keeping missiles around. Otherwise I am in agreement with you and would totally be ok with no more missiles!

What about a rule, that a missile can not take out Strategic Units?

It's fair to get Strategic units wiped out with a raid, but imagine how much more fair it would be to at least retain the expensive Strategic Units. People would still spend on restoring the ordinary units. At least there would be a hope. If the missile does not affect any fuel depot, why should it affect a Samson with supposedly "amazing" armor for example. This way the diamonds would be spent on restoring normal units. The rocket would still cause a great loss, stripping all ord. units from Strategic units, so players would be needing normal units ASAP.

Still benefits those with deep pockets or parents visa cards over genuine players. After all what is the point in building up a base and army if some little 10 year old oik on a level 25 base using his dads visa can destroy your army in minutes

Agree but can't really see Plarium getting rid of missiles perhaps a shield should become automatic after you reach a certain level say 85 but conversely if you have a shield you can not use nukes yourself that would encourage people to build for the future.

have already seen examples of the coiners at work 2 players launched a total of 130 nukes at another completely wiping out an army it had taken 9 months to build but as usual Plarium is on the side of those with the big bank balances rapidly getting to the stage where no new player survives because the coiners nuke them out and this game will die soon as a result
