10 levels limit between attacking players.

While this is a game and whatever, I want to interest someone in this idea.  I'd love to see it in ALL war games, not just plarium.com.  I would love to see a limit of at MOST 10 levels between you and the person you are attacking.  Because if you are 15 to 20 or MORE levels above the other player, that's just bullying and does NOT give the weaker player a chance to recover at all if the other keeps hitting the weaker repeatedly on a daily basis.

Attacking what exactly?  Well, bases only.  The city/base/isle the player actually owns and starts building on is what I mean.  Anything else like targets or whatever is always up for grabs, but the base is a bit personal, if you think about it.  This way, people have a Better chance to grow and defend themselves.

In short, one must be at most 10 levels ABOVE OR BELOW the player WHOSE BASE they are attacking.  No more, no less.  AND THEY MUST HAVE BEEN ACTIVE FOR AT LEAST A WEEK PRIOR to this to come into effect.  If you go off for months, even say at level 6 and don't come back, well, that's just too bad.  But if a lvl 26 hits a lvl 6, and both are equally active, then thats just wrong and mean.  There's enough internet bullying.  Let's quell some of it in the games...

What do you think?

@fknightwyng (6 July, 2015, 8:16 PM UTC):
Just for clarification, no bullying has occurred until one player starts sending abusive mails to another. Attacking bases is allowed by ToS.

But yes, I think they should have some sort of limit, maybe the same limits as Global Tournament group categories; levels 5-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 60+ for 'free-for-all' attacking bases, along with a free-for-all for everything else.

However, I think the 'shield' should be deactivated if the lower level attacks the higher level first, or one of them goes MIA (3+ days inactivity).

I dont think there is a issue between the levels attacking one another. A members level dont have anything to do with the strength of the base...With the ability to buy everything, and speed up neg, and upgrade times with diamonds, a level 20 could be further along in the game than a level 60...So with that sais, base levels dont really mean anything in the game anymore.....If a member is willing to spend money, a level 20 could win over a level 80....

the level of the base is not significant at all in fact it is important to bring the contract negotiations to level 20 ... made this job then you are a good player, experience the fun you do on the field ...

You want to change nature? The big fish won't be able to eat the little fish anymore?

I believe he wants to change the nature so that sharks can't attack krill.

Not that they tend to, but just a general size difference.

i would agree on the proposal if the Lvl of peoples bases actually equalled their strength cause doing this is gonna not only make it easier for  those low level with a ton if cash spent to abuse the rule but combine wars /challenges whould also need to be remade... thus the idea was good but is impractical to implement to just this game

I disagree with you. While it hinders a players growth, they still have room to grow. For example, over on Total Domination on FB, I had the luxury of getting over 200 raids, 50 recons, 30 invasions a day from a single empire comprised of 8 clans. Sure they wiped everything I had. But guess what? Build a little bit at a time and bunker it. It will stack up. And that is exactly what I did. At the beginning I was an OFF player. Nearly almost no DEF to speak of. After that though, I built almost nothing but DEF with only 10-20 OFF units a day. Outcome? I trashed at least 25 of the biggest players armies in that empire. Doesn't seem/sound like much. But considering the fact it was myself, along versus 345 players, that is pretty damn good even with the huge difference. Keep in mind, not all the 345 members attacked me. Around 160 did. So the problem here is you lack the ability to grow on your own. You prevent yourself from growth while being hindered by others.

Now another example I want to point out is this: Levels do not matter. On Stormfall, I once proved that to a player of L45 when I was only L24. He laid siege to me. Why? He was attempting to force me to join his league. He wasn't the leader or anything. He just joined a few days before I did with a top league. I spoke with the league leader and they were against his actions for targeting me with the idea of forcing me to join the league. He was on his own, the entire league was ordered not to intervene, not even with defending his castle. Outcome? His DEF, gone. His OFF, gone. A player 31 levels above me got himself wiped. He wasn't even allowed to hold an siege either. I would not allow him that right as punishment. I grew, he didn't. At least while I had my fun with him.

So, moral of the story is this: Don't blame your inability to play functionally enough on the fact people are higher level then you. You could always be stronger then them, even if they are P2P players, like the guy in Stormfall was. We do not need for limitations by levels, this will make things extremely more tough especially when a member of your combine is being targeted with raids or what not by others.

Peace.

While level does hold it's advantages such as better trained troops and such it is not the main determining factor. I held my own against a warlord(lvl 89 I believe) and I am only a lvl 54 Lieutenant. We were struggling over my partners base for two whole days. I eventually lost but this stands to show that I had a chance. This is war, other commanders aren't here to be budy-budy with you. Survival of the fitest.

You DEFINITELY have to join a combine ASAP.

No need to chance the way we attack other base's we all start from level 1 and work our way up I remember been level 20 and been raided by level 50 players all the time now the tables have turned just be smarter and learn how to play the game after all it is an online war game no need for chances leave it as is

I absolutely agree that something has to be done so that a player can not attack an other player if there is a very big difference between the two, like in this case where Semper Fi attacked me without warning or anyone from our team having attacked any of there members.

There also needs to be a level system implemented between combines in a similar way.
Implementing an "attack level system" for players and combines would also solve the problem with multiple "alts".
As it is now every third base is someones "alt" and plarium knows this.

..and to make it clear, I mean streangth difference not level difference.

We are not planning to implement such limits. it is a war game, and you should always stay alert.
