Years ago there were PVP tournaments that would allow you to revive up to 95% of your units lost in the Combine PVP event. I believe it was 60% from Plarium and then up to an additional 35% depending on sick bay level.

The participation was through the roof and it was a lot of fun. I think that you should seriously consider at least 1 and see how it works out. 

The game is getting boring as no one wants to lose 1 million in gems worth of units, this event removes that excuse and maybe we can actually play a war game again.
