Turrets, Emplacements, etc

Hello, how those defensive buildings exactly work? For example, a turret that has 300 DEF can kill 300 DEF worth of troops? Or it has a hidden mechanic (like turret description suggests)?

Because if for example 10 turrets have 500 DEF so they just add 500 DEF to your base, really not worth the diamond investment as they are not neither able to defend against a stupid Reaper, lol.

For every 100 points of defence from turrets, the gate and colour guard.  You get +%1 defence bonus that effects all troops in your base.

In my opinion, it's more usefull to upgrade defense Annexes. 

They can't hold any deff troops but can be as def unit itself.


PS Sorry, didn't trace micropatch with this update.

Already have an Advanced Defence Annex at level 11. Very handy :)

You can add troops to defense annexes now. Also, defense Annexes don't work this way, they don't give "Base Defense" bonus but Defense score. 



Just FYI, Plarium answered my question on their Facebook page, saying that every 100 BASE DEFENSE add 1% to defense to all your troops when your base is under attack ;)

This point is right if you mean Defensive Emplacements like Turrets, Gates etc.
