No longer able to run Raid within Plarium Play on MacBook since v4.30 update

Device: MacBook Pro 13-inch, 2019

Operating System: MacOS Big Sur, 11.2.2 (20D80)

Raid fails to start from Plarium Play since the version 4.30 update.

Attempted to clear cache, re-install Raid within Plarium Play, re-install Plarium Play, but still fails to run.

Hi guys,

Developers are actively investigating the issues that are causing some MacOS users being unable to play. I understand it's taking a while and I apologize for the inconvenience.

I wish I had better news for you but know that it's being worked on and hopefully there will be some update on the issue soon.

Thank you for your patience

Any update on fixing this?  I have spent thousands of dollars on this game.  I am at a point of going through the process of requesting a full refund at this point due to seller negligence and moving on from the game.  There's just been way too many issues and I have been more than patient with all of them.   It has been DAYS since this first issue occurred for Mac users.  You leave us all in the dark. There is a fair allotted time to fix an issue and it's almost reaching the end of the week now.   If I need to go through my attorney and your legal team, so let it be, but I would rather solve this amicably and hope you guys do the right thing. It's the seller's responsibility to provide a working product for the paying consumer.  Technical issues may occur but you and I know that we've had our fair share and we have been extremely patient.  At level 100, you know that I have been through it all.

Before launching a new patch or game extension, don't you guys thoroughly test it on PC, Mac, etc etc?  I would think that is standard SOP for developers.  Anyhow,  I need a time frame on when this will be fixed.  If you don't see it being fixed in the very near future, please ask your developers for my request for a full refund.  I really don't want to have to go through contacting the Google store customer service, BBB, FTC amongst many others and make this a huge issue.  I pay a lot of money for this game. I expect to PLAY and enjoy it, this is not what I am paying for.  I hope to hear from you today.

Thanks

Same issue here... After the IOS patch for some reason i was able to launch it once but then it started crashing again...

Plarium you charge us quite a bit of money to progress in the game, pretty sure you can afford a proper Q&A team. This is embarassing

Hello,

Same problem for me since more than 1 week. I wonder why it's not possible to downgrade to previous version !

Some people report that it might help with the MacOS issue to delete all files in the folder:

Library/Application Support/com.plarium.raidlegends/BattleJournals

you have to do it from the command line because with the folder we do not see anything at all

rm -rf Library/Application\ Support/com.plarium.raidlegends/BattleJournals/*

OK!  That does actually work....

Another way to get there is to open a finder window:

Click on the "Go" menu, while it is visible press and hold the "option" key.

This will add a selection about 1/2 way down called "Library"

Click on Library and it will take you to the Hidden Library folder that contains the path:

~\Application Support\ com.plarium.raidlegends\BattleJournals\

I only had one file in this folder, after deleting the file RAID is Running!!!!

Cheers

I had same issue and used the terminal command:

rm -rf Library/Application\ Support/com.plarium.raidlegends/BattleJournals/*

And the game is now working om my M1 Macbook Pro.

But we should not have at run commands like that in order for the game to run, something must have gone wrong in the latest patch.
