Chill_Dawg is right. It's just a good defense. Next time be careful about going for 2-man defenses like that. They're sometimes set up to trap attackers into a stalemate. Read the champ skills if you're unfamiliar with what you're about to face and try to weigh if you can outdamage/counter.

Yep, unfortunately this is a battle that you have lost. The goal of an arena offense is to win, while the goal of the arena defense is to not lose. If you cannot kill them, then the arena defense has done it's job.
This is a common strategy in building a defense

Yeah, it is good defence in areana.
Tho it is stupid there is no turn limit for a fight, so you can get stuck for hours without realising.
But this is much more annoying in pve when you get locked by some unkillable bs.
