this thread was at least half focussed on explaining the current arena issues. i'm going to make a thread dedicated to my arena rework idea, with full details. it'll be even better.

yup pvp is full of whales again on all pages like 4 months ago !!! IT dont hurt me because i have arbiter now but i feel me sorry for some of my team mates with pvp missions lol 😈

yea all the time they just dono what to say and im sure untill they fix the arena back like it was this will be hear to stay and im sure more to come from my team alone 30 mad people lol

I let my self drop in arena and will not have any problems getting back up, however i think newer players would have troubles batteling many of these teams (i will not, but thats not the point)

I don't know if I had the worst luck or it's just me. I tried using like 5 refreshes and the team I encounter is mostly 200k in gold IV lol

Gold4 is supposed to be hard i think. Im more concerned about silver/bronce :)

I don't have a leg, my highest hero is lvl 50 ...

How tf am i suppose to play arena, i've been refreshing all day, lost a lot a matches, only encountered once in a while a team with coherent team power (but almost always higher than mine) ... guys come on ...

Arena is a mess since a year ago, and noone in Plarium seems to have any idea on how to fix it, since anything they do will just place the Arena back into square one in about a week or two after whatever they do.

That is your prolem.  Step 1 is get Kael (or any 12.3 farmer) to 60

This is the bottom end of gold 1. Admittedly one of the arbiters isnt levelled yet. I actually won 2 of these fights as they were very slow arbiters, but still...

One of the biggest problems is most people quit the game very quickly so there are few active but new players in the game and far more retired/semi inactive players with stacked teams.

So, when you hit silver, especially if you have high player power you have a good chance of getting a page of stacked teams that no longer play (ie they login briefly to chat to clanmates etc)

I disagree that having the highest level champ only at 50 is a problem.

For God sake! He's at Bromze 2! I plowthrough bronze 2 without any level 60 less than a year ago! And now you have to have full level 60 with team synergy, masteries, and minimum of 5* artifacts just to get through Bronze 2?

That's THE REAL PROBLEM Trips! The crazy high demand for even a low tier arena! No wonder new players flee the game as soon as they are able to test the arena!

As I said, not a single soul in Plarium knows how to "fix" arena.

Their mantra that is now being chanted by veteran players and veteran forumites is "git gud!" or in Plarium's language " buy more shards and gems and artifact packs"

Let's face the reality, Plarium's arena problem makes them money, so it's not a problem for them. Their arena "problem" makes the whales at platinum rank furiously buying any speed artifact packs or speed glyphs packs.

So there's just no willingness from Plarium to fix arena, the only way new players can have a fighting chance to even raise to bronze 3 is to git gud (read: be a whale) or get out.

Funny thing is, with focus and not actually being new it is totally different.

On my alt account i farmed spirithost, warmaiden, and i think i stacked up a greybeard too for annoyance value and i was able to breeze to B4 with slow speeds (175 ish) because i kept my roster tiny.

But if i had played as the game encourages you too and had more player power my experience would have been dramatically different.

I agree - i saw someone stuck in bronze being advised to speed tune and gain 300 speed a few days ago...for bronze! :)

I disagree with you saying the highest level champ only at 50 is not a problem.

You say "it's Bronze 2, he should do that without lvl 60 champ". And what comes after he has done Bronze 2? How far should he climb without lvl 60 champ? Bronze 4? Silver 1? Ok, 60 victories to the player, 60 more Bronze medals. Would that change anything? At least in Bronze 4 or Silver 1 he has to build a good arena team. Or do you want to see Lvl 50 Warpriests in Gold?

The players that flee because they can't build an arena team would flee 2 or 3 weeks later. 

It's PvP, your opponents in arena are teams built by other players. Why should they be weak? Unlike the PvE-opponents, in the arena they want to win to. They get arena points if they win, and the they lose points if you win. For each victory a player has in arena, another player has to lose a fight. As there is no draw in arena, allways, whatever Plarium does, 50% of the fights are lost by one player. What else than "git gud" should be the solution? Weak built bot-teams that lose and make every player happy?
