Videos and internet show Athels stats starting as -- HP (13,545, ATK (1189). Def (936). However my starting stats for Athel is much lower in all categories -- HP (6675), ATK (551), and DEF (219).
In some cases my stats are 50% or more lower than advertised making her one my weakest champions.

The higher stats you see are at *6, level 60, fully ascended (all stars are purple). You can see the same values in your Index menu (the banner icon on the bottom of your Bastion screen).
That is where you want to get your Athel for her to really shine. She is a good Campaign farmer, and she is great for Fireknight, Spider, Faction Wars and other areas too.
The first set of numbers aren't her starting stats, but her final stats at level 60 and fully ascended (ungeared - will be a lot more with gear). Those are also the ones you'll find in the index in-game. Actual starting stats are rarely mentioned because they aren't very relevant - as soon as you start using her, her stats will start to improve. Though it will certainly take a good amount of effort to level her all the way to 60 (and maybe you won't ever do that at all, depending on which other champions you have).Videos and internet show Athels stats starting as -- HP (13,545, ATK (1189).
