Is something going on in Classic Arena? Today I found myself able to push through Silver 2.

With my post last night yes for sure. I never thought I would reach platinum lol There are more untuned speed teams than i thought

Yeah, top Platinum seemed to increase by 200 points (?)
Plarium did something... But IDK why they don't tell us anything. Maybe they don't want us to know if whatever they did, didn't wotk?
Edit: I have a theory... I have watched Hell Hades video about his observation about Rotos' nerf.
Maybe, Rotos' nerf have a bigger impact, that teams that are usually using him are now tumbling down because without Rotos, they can't hold their place? And since they go down, creating slots for others to take their place? Just a theory...

At lower levels, maybe the advanced quests are increasing overall play too? I think I am getting more defensive wins, on alt at least.

actually have been finding it harder. I can barely hold silver 1
returning after 3 months.

I have a Rotos team and I have dropped from high Gold III to low Gold I. I expect to keep falling, as I do not have a replacement for the full team composition yet, and I am losing almost all defensive battles, bar for a handful of exceptions. At least half of the offensive battles too.
The drop also means lower Guildhall bonuses for my Arena tier, weakening me further.
Much fun...

The lost of Rotos seems to mark the resurgence of the tank team, also the revive team seems to be viable again now...

Difference I found between Foli and Rotos was that Rotos would simply 1 shot you to block revive, and then gets another turn that usually kills another champion, and if using relentless gear may grant another turn to kill another. With Foli, his AOE even though has block revive, doesn't seem to kill in 1 hit, at least for me.
