At first glance, I was about to dismiss this, but then I noticed he's an epic champ.

So, overall, I guess his kit is okay for epic. It does seem strange that his A3 is only a 25% RES up, and not a 50% RES up. Is that intentional? Usually epic champs have the "good" version, and they've been buffing quite a few epic champs to upgrade from the "bad" version to the "good one". Maybe it's an ascension bonus?

He's got an interesting passive, similar to BEK. I might go for him, if it's easy enough.... 

An AoE stun on a 3 turn cooldown (albeit 75%), plus a 40% stun on his A1 is quite good for CC with an epic.  I think it's worth picking him up.  Also brings a 60% increase defense and 15% damage increase to his team if his stuns land.

Solid epic in my mind

I assume the aura icon is whong? Looks like HP icon on a DEF aura. 

(Also, the icon on his aura should be defense, I am told)

Fragment collector from what I've been told, so that's nice. Should be a lot less resource intensive than the last few.

Yes, the champ looks interesting. For me it would be decisive, how many points they put into the summon events to get him....

We'll see.

He seems good for an epic, although a bit one-sided. I read each ability and think it's good. But when considering the package as a whole? I just fail to see where I'd use him. 

Dungeons? sure, seems ok for dragon and ice golem. Controls the waves, then has some residual utility against the boss.

Doom Tower? Well, in my limited experience the toughest floors all have block debuffs, or nasty passives you have to work around. So this guy is at best 1/2 of a control package, and we only have 5 champion slots.

Faction wars? got plenty of great barbarians, so does everyone else.

I'm wary of epic fusions. I went for Nogoryo and he's sitting in the vault. There's nothing wrong with Nogoryo, he just doesn't make the cut. And the cost in shards was pretty high (one full-sized summoning event). So I've learned to count each shard pulled outside a 2x as half a shard lost. 4 sacreds is 25% chance of a legendary on average. There needs to be something worthwhile on the other side of the equation.

I am almost depleted on energy and shards.  Being an epic can make it easier for me to skip, then regret.

I'll probably pick him up just to have the fragments on file for a rainy day.  He seems decent for cc.  I think its good to have these epic events mostly b/c (assuming the requirements match the champ) it puts a few decent champs within reach of newer or less developed accounts that may have a hard time with some of the other events.

Easy Champ Chase or CvC points down the road. Always a reason to do a fusion, in my opinion. :)

Oh wow, it looks like this fusion won't have any shard event. That should make it an automatic pickup for most accounts.

Yes, and 120 frags available, +15 for placing, this is great for some that struggle in heavy req events.  Champ should be in reach of many players.
