Champion Spotlight: The Sacred Order, Update 0.11

With banners raised high and battle hymns sung defiantly, warriors of the Sacred Order march to war. Their blades, their skills, and, most importantly, their faith shall guide them to victory. And with Update 0.11, these Champions can be yours to command!

Praise Lumaya and strike down all those who dare threaten Her light!

Abbess


The Abbess stands among the most influential officers of the Order. Her position requires a cunning mind and ability to maneuver the difficult political landscape of Aravia. But those who foolishly believe these to be her only skills often do not get a chance to realize the gravity of their mistake.

In battle, the Abbess wields her crossbow with frightening efficiency. No matter how many foes are set against her, she never seems to run out of sanctified quarrels.

Skills

Arrow of Rebuke

 
Attacks 1 enemy. Removes 1 random debuff from this Champion and places it on the target.

Mass Impalement 


Attacks all enemies. Has a 50% chance of placing a 60% [Decrease DEF] debuff for 2 turns.

Cooldown: 4 turns

Divine Wrath


Attacks all enemies. Damage inflicted is proportional to either this Champion’s ATK or the target’s DEF or ATK stat, whichever is highest.

Cooldown: 4 turns



Roshcard the Tower


Nicknamed “the Tower” for his impressive height and his unyielding manner of defensive combat, Seneschal Roshcard is well known through the ranks of the Order and beyond. It is said that despite his high rank, he can always be found at the spreadhead of an attack, facing the gravest of dangers himself in defense of his Brothers and Sisters. 

But Roshcard is more than just an unmovable rock that prevents harm from befalling his allies. While hardly subtle, he wields his hammer with deadly precision and knows just which strike is needed to deny his enemies of any meager advantage they may have.

Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 50% chance of removing 1 random buff from the target.

Sanction


Attacks 1 enemy. Places a [Block Cooldown Skills] debuff and a [Block Buffs] debuff for 2 turns. These debuffs cannot be resisted.

Cooldown: 4 turns

Zone of Protection


Places a [Block Damage] buff on all allies for 2 turns.

Cooldown: 6 turns

Aura


Increases Ally HP in all Battles by 33%.


Canoness


Chosen from among the most experienced Battle Sisters, the Canoness serves as the Order’s officer in both war and peace. As others look up to her for guidance, she must strive to provide an unquestionable example of piety, courage, and selflessness. 

And such faith is justly rewarded. For even as the Canoness puts herself in harm’s way for others, Lumaya’s light is ever present to soothe her wounds, empower allies, and blind enemies.

Lead the Charge


Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 25% chance of placing a 50% [Increase ATK] buff on a random ally for 2 turns.

Blinding Assault 



Attacks 1 enemy. Has an 80% chance of placing a 50% [Decrease ACC] buff on the target for 2 turns.

Cooldown: 4 turns

Stalwart Guardian

Places a 50% [Ally Protection] buff and a 60% [Increase DEF] buff on the target for 2 turns. Also places a 15% [Continuous Heal] buff on this Champion for 2 turns.

Cooldown: 6 turns


Chaplain


While it is the sharp steel of the Sacred Order that many fear, their true strength lies in their conviction and their nigh-fanatical faith. Their knights and soldiers are most often accompanied by members of the clergy, whose task is to rouse the Order’s warriors to greater feats of fervour.

The Chaplain, in particular, does not shrink away from battle. Indeed, her fearless demeanour and ability to call upon Lumaya’s favour to heal her allies and strike down enemies makes this cleric a force to be reckoned with.

Holy Bolt


Attacks 1 enemy.

Benediction


Removes all debuffs from a target ally, then heals the target. The heal amount is proportional to this Champion’s ATK.

Cooldown: 4 turns

Radiance

Attacks all enemies. Heals all allies by 25% of the damage inflicted.

Cooldown: 5 turns



Confessor


Confessors serve as the Sacred Order’s investigators and are often required to undertake dangerous missions against the forces of Siroth. Intelligent and cunning, they are bestowed with the right to judge and condemn all those who stand against their masters. 

This Confessor is a master archer, capable of outmaneuvering her enemies and thwarting their attempts to put her allies at a disadvantage.

Stern Judgment


Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 15% chance of decreasing the target’s Turn Meter by 15%.

Blinding Light


Attacks all enemies. Has a 70% chance of placing a 50% [Decrease ACC] debuff for 2 turns.

Cooldown: 4 turns

Unyielding Fervor


Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 35% chance of granting an Extra Turn.

Cooldown: 5 turns

Aura


Increases Ally C. RATE in Dungeons by 16%


Judicator


Where Confessors act with subtlety and subterfuge, Judicators are drawn from the ranks of Knights Templar and charged with enforcing justice and the will of the Sacred Order. Though they are not granted the same level of authority, it is their axes that often bring a bloody end to the works of criminals, dark magi, and creatures much fouler.

But this knight is much more than a simple executioner. His skills are no less useful in open battle. The raw strength and fury are only matched by the precision with which he strikes.

Justiciar


The institution of Justiciars is well-known and respected, for the clerics bestowed with a Justiciar’s seal are as learned as they are uncompromising. Though often called upon to handle disputes between nobles, trying demon worshippers and other evildoers remains their primary concern.

But justice cannot always be delivered in the courtroom. When required, all Justiciars are expected to take up arms in defense of their duty. And this Champion particularly excels at defensive combat.

Hold the Line


Attacks 1 enemy. Increases this Champion’s DEF by 3% (up to 10 times in one round).

Contemptuous Blow


Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 50% chance of placing a [Provoke] debuff on the target for 1 turn.

Comeback [Passive]


When this Champion is hit with a critical hit, counterattacks using their default skill and decreases the buffs duration on the target by 1 turn.


Lamellar


While a commoner may not have much hope of reaching the same heights as a noble knight in the Sacred Order, their role cannot be underestimated. Professional soldiers that form the backbone of the Order’s forces are well-trained and dangerous opponents.

The Lamellar represents this stalwart resolve and refusal to surrender despite the odds. Protected by sturdy scalemail and armed with a bec de corbin, he is fully capable of keeping enemies at bay to assist his allies.

Crystal Burst

Decreases the damage taken by this Champion by 30% when their HP drops below 30%.


Maiden


Just like their brothers-at-arms, Maidens of the Knights Templar stand among the elite of the Sacred Order. Often trained from a young age, these women are skilled and stalwart Champions of their faith.

Steady and ferocious in battle, the Maiden can break through her enemies’ defenses and gravely wound tough opponents, making it easier for other Champions to finish them off. And her faith in Lumaya often manifests in strange magic that turns her foes to ice, though some say it is her stern glare that truly makes blood run cold.
