Hello, everyone! We are approaching the 1 year anniversary of Raid: Shadow Legends soft launch. There are a lot of things to work on still and we wanted to briefly summarize what it’s all been about and where we are, at this point, as well as to show you what we have been working on.

Over the course of this year, we have released several large updates that made our game what it is now - fun, addictive and thought-provoking. Just a short while ago, Raid did not have all those amazing features it has now. So, I wanted to list the big ones:


- Potion Mixing

- New and Updated Challenges


- Clans. Clan Boss

- Personal Achievements


- 10x Champion Summon

- Champion Vault

- Arena Tier Chests and new Divine Artifact Sets

- Fusion


 - Nicholas Fusion


- Progress Missions


- Events

- Clan Chat


 - Tournaments 


 - Referral Program (we are in the process of improving it still)

- Progress Missions. Part 3 and 4

In addition to that, numerous ways to receive all kinds of rewards for regular in-game activities have been added.

We want to make sure every Update adds something useful to the game, enriching the game-play and making it even more enjoyable. Of course, the best things require a lot of time and resources.

Here is a short list of features that we have been developing. They are due to be released in the nearest future:

- 6* and Legendary Artifacts

- Multi-battle

- New Fusion

- New Daily Login Rewards, including brand new Champions

- New rewards in Dungeons and in Events

- Raid launch in the Plarium Play desktop application

- Faction Wars

- Artifact Upgrade items

We are also still reviewing all Legendary, Epic, and Rare Champions that are underperforming and plan to rebalance them. It is going to be a massive undertaking and a boost to your Champions.

Since our game is relatively young, we still have many obstacles to overcome and difficulties to tackle on the way of bringing Raid to the level we want it to be on. Some of those problems are predictable, others arise unexpectedly, like the crashes and loading issues we have been trying to eliminate. Tackling those issues is one of our top priorities.

Along the creation process, nothing inspires us more than your support and the realization that we are all in this together. We have something that unites us all and understanding that it’s our own small world is fascinating. We believe that we will handle everything that gets in our way, and nothing will stop us from continuing to develop the game that we have all come to love.

What we want you to know is that Raid is something that we create, argue, brainstorm, worry, feel happy and devastated (at times) about. But we would never do anything that could potentially put our game at risk. We thank you for being with us all this time and promise that there is a lot to look forward to.

Thanks for this excellent update. Can we have a new clan boss difficulty please? There is not enough damage across all of the bosses for all of our players now and the introduction of 6* gear will only make that worse.

Thanks for the updates, just joined 2 weeks ago but completely hooked atm. I hope for easier events with awesome rewards for the 1st anniversary. Best of Luck!

New Fusion and such was originally announced for the end of May.

While all the changes you outline sound good, it would be nice to have a better idea of when this is scheduled for release, other than 'in the nearest future'?

Thanks for the nice post and good job to all who are working hard to make this game better.

My very first request for the next update would be (among other great stuff you shared) the artifact challenge that forces to get those 3* artifacts in normal mode. I see no benefit to make those challanges in a specific (especially in a lower) difficulty level.

From 1.1.0 (January 2019) to 1.7 (June 2019) we did not receive a single new mechanics, only the repeated over-passing of existing ones. 1.8 apparently does not improve this situation. When to expect the introduction into the game of new modes, such as Faction Wars for example? The game will soon be a year, the near future is no longer as close as time has shown.

I just wish they would fix the 3 🌟 (with attack primary) artifacts missions so that I could complete them.

Three patches since 1.7 brought us the hang/crash issues. It's been about six weeks now. If they persist in 1.8 I'm outta here and I suspect I won't be alone.

You listed the Nicholas fusion as added content however he is currently not fuseable?  Will he be added to the permanent list of Fusion characters?  If not - I would reconsider listing this as added content as it was only for players who were active during that time.

Also, Could you clarify what "Multi-Battle" feature will be? I truly hope it is NOT an auto repeat. Games that take this route are even more susceptible to bots and abuse. It also takes a lot of the "work" out of the game. The less time people spend actively playing the game - the less they are interested or inclined to pick it up.

Looking forward to the updates. However, I sure hope all efforts are being placed into fixing the crashing, loading screen freezes. I have lost a lot of energy, PvP tokens, PvP ranking, and guild keys due to this game altering bug. If it’s not fixed soon and reimbursements given, it doesn’t matter what updates come in the future. I will not be here, along with many others.

"Near Future" promise about every other week is not an acceptable situation.   As you can see from the comment sections, the discord chat, the Reddit posts...   Players are becoming more and more unhappy with this game.   

I'm sure you can see metrics for players and accounts who have become inactive. 

Have you already grabbed all the cash you need/want from this game and putting it on life support?   

OR, are you actually planning to have a game that lasts and retains active and (somewhat) happy customers/players?  

As you can very easily tell, we are not happy customers/players at this point and these types of post are a step in the right direction but nowhere near enough.

The updates may take long to arrive so it would be nice to have an ongoing communication on whats in the pipeline. 

It would remove much of the frustration of waiting.

Nice. Thank you for the game and for all the work you made! Its a great game and im happy to play this since the beta!

Can we please have a nightmare campaign? With the 6 star gear we definitly need a better challenge.  :)
