So disappointing that the fusion is another "epic with gold border". This guy is at best going to sit unbooked on one of my backwater 3s areana teams, if that. Insult to injury is throwing the actual desired and useful lego into the deck of paywall tease champs. To come clean, Plarium would either have give Elegius a purple border, or minimally space out the realease of these champs so what you are doing is not so obvious. Do you guys have no regard for what appears to be manipulative to your customer base?

Anselm, we had some good fusions as well in the past, some were not that great indeed, but that's how it is, we can't expect only amazing fusions every time. There is Rhazin Scarhide permanently available as well as the free legendaries from daily rewards, like Scyl of Drakes for example that is very strong.
So Plarium did give everyone a chance to have some good legendaries outside shards summoning.
I really love the new champs and with the 10x event I went out of my way and spent more money on shards to get Narma. The 16 books is insanely obnoxious, but it's something I'd be willing to invest in (hell, again, spend more money) if...and only IF.. she was more worth it. Now after pulling her and seeing other videos on her, it's become clear that her A1 should extend ALL debuffs. Her aura should be accuracy in ALL battles. If you're going to make a legendary champ take 16 books...they better be one of the best in the game; not a lesser version of Vizier and a lesser version of a rare Frozen Banshee.
Make her A1 extend all debuffs PLEASE.. and I'll happily book her up. But I can say now the way she is, you're losing my money I'd be willing to spend on good packs that included lego books.
I'm super bummed to have invested a lot already just in trying to pull her; I'm already regretting it.
(Or maybe give us a way to get our books back!?! Especially with champion rebalances, this should be a thing already.)
And an avatar at 100,000!? Yikes! I was excited for the avatars til that. It shouldn't be pure whale territory and more expensive than a sacred shard.
I always look forward to new champions being added to the game. I love the fusion events because they give the game an aura of excitement and honestly a reason to do more then the basic login and finish dailies grind.
The day in, day out login and do dailies becomes a boring chore. How long until a player realizes that this is a chore that can be eliminated from their real life schedule?
This new fusion looks disappointing. This is compounded by the fact that the legendary character everyone is going to want isn’t the subject of the fusion.
I don’t understand why Plarium doesn’t see the value in giving their player base a chance to obtain a good legendary outside of summoning them with shards. Getting a new good hero whom can actually help anyone’s account is a sure way to keep players coming back.
I won’t be pursuing this champion, and I don’t see myself getting excited about shard pulling as much anymore either, at least not until something is done about pulling duplicate and triplicate heroes.
Please do something to bring excitement back to the game, your audience sees how to fix this, please listen. I’m a huge fan, and it really disappoints me to see this downward spiral.
