Update Highlights 1.15

Greetings from Plarium!


Update 1.15 approaches, and we have another batch of smaller features and improvements for you to enjoy. From a new Tournament type to endless Clan Boss HP and new Player Levels, we are looking to further increase the overall QoL for all Raiders. Check out the notes below to learn more:


Quality of Life

Undying Clan Boss

It has been a good while since the release of Clans. Since then, more Champions were added to the game, more Skills, buffs and debuffs, a whole new Rank of Artifacts. All in all, players received a great many tools of bringing the Clan Boss down faster and more efficiently - which in itself is a good thing. But that also means players are finishing these Battles much faster, and many of their Clanmates have trouble getting their own chance at participating to receive a Clan Boss Chest.


To fix that, we are making the Clan Boss ‘unkillable’. The HP milestones will remain, reaching them will grant two chests to all who participated and met the necessary goals, but the Clan Boss Battle itself will remain open to all members of the Clan.


That way, even if you are part of one of the Top Clans that can bring the Nightmare Boss down within hours, you can still get your rewards!


Additional Player Levels

This is fairly simple - player profiles will be capped at Level 100 now, go wild! To preemptively answer one of the questions, no, the Energy pool will not increase past level 60. But you will get new rewards for reaching milestones of Levels 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, and 100.


Tournaments

Arena Onslaught Tournament

A new Tournament type will be added to the roster! Battle other players, get Tournament Points for your victories, and earn your prizes amid the scorching sands of the Arena! Keep in mind, this will not be based on the number of medals you receive, and only successful Arena Battles that you’ve initiated will count (Defense will not affect the score either!).


Note: Arena Onslaught will not launch on the exact day of the Update. Keep an eye out for additional news in the game and on our social media!


Tournaments With Additional Conditions

Some Tournaments will have specific conditions to complete; they will become available in the near future. Such as defeating Dungeon Levels with Champions belonging to the same Faction or Champions of the same Rarity. Be on the lookout for these special conditions when new Tournaments launch!


Champion Balance and Bugfix

Skull Lord Var-Gall can properly apply Decrease MAX HP to targets under a Shield buff.


Fu-Shan’s skill [Howl] now properly displays the Stat that its damage is based on.


The following Skills are now multiplicative with other similar effects (Damage, Damage Decrease effects, etc) rather than additive:

  • Cursehold, for Richtoff the Bold
  • Kingslayer, for Elder Skarg
  • Ethereal Ways, for Duchess Lilitu
  • Shroud of Winter, for Ursine Icecrusher
  • Resolute Defense, for Valla
  • Spurn Oblivion, for Rotos the Lost Groom
  • Battle Brothers, for Towering Titan

Miscellaneous Improvements

  • Gold Tier IV Arena Chest will see a significant reward buff. This change will take effect on May 8th, 2020, but keep in mind that it will not retroactively change the rewards received on Monday that week. Most players will receive the updated chests on May 11th.
  • You will be able to lock or unlock Champions in the Tavern


  • Accessories will have an option to be sold from the Battle Result screen
  • Accessories will be added to Tournament rewards
  • Champions required for an active Champion Fusion will be marked with a special icon. Furthermore, there will be an alert pop-up before these Champions are sacrificed


  • You will be able to sell Artifacts and Accessories from the Battle Result window even if your Storage is full
  • Improved UI for Arena Chests (tapping it will show rewards)
  • Updated Platinum Tier matchmaking, your opponents will be chosen by their position on the Platinum Leaderboard rather than their Arena Points
  • Various UI fixes

So by making those moves multiplicative rather than additive, would that be a nerf?


Sorry if I misunderstood, but you guys should not be rolling out nerfs right now....

I’d really like to know why you think players wanted a level cap increase, clearly it was to get an additional energy cap which you guys have decided to leave out. The disconnect between you and your players is blatantly obvious.

Is there any possibility of fixing Elenaril's A3, combust, for clan boss.


We were told that this would happen almost a year ago, but it appears to have been overlooked.

I wish to see some day 'training arena' for clanmates. We really needed duels to check how some team works against specific champs or teams.

Wow... Just wow... The utter thousands of revenue you lot get and that's the best you can offer in the form of an 'update'? In other games where the developers have the interests of the players at heart, roll this sort of crap out weekly as general updates/changes. But to you lot this seems to be a good 6months or more well spent. Congratulations plarium, you truly are utter sharks.

Whilst there are many questionable things here it is important to focus on the positives. The clan boss is a great change and looks good so great work plarium. Please keep fixing champions and bring us the void dungeon. Also the arena tournament looks good.

Just interesting when it will be possible to add sort and find through heroes skills like in 1.14 with item attributes?

Honestly, you have no idea what to do to improve this game. 1) why would anyone give a shit to go to level 100 if they are not getting an increase to there energy?  it is like your tell us you will make Champions Max level to 70 but nothing will change in their total stats really dumb think ffs 


2) why are you nerfing the worst champion in the game Richtoff the Bold is the most useless champion and you are nerfing him lol

Hell yes, please Plarium! She was my first Leggo as a F2P player and now sitting in the vault. I am waiting to get lucky pull Bad El or another secondary poisoner that has some additional utility before I can make some dungeon speed run teams with her.

Increasing the energy cap with gaining levels from levels 60-100 makes SOOO much sense.   Rewards the players who have been loyal, is a smart move by Plarium.   It does not have to be much, maybe 1 energy per level, with the boosts to max energy happening every 5 levels.

Level 65 - 135 max energy

Level 70 - 140 max energy

Level 75 - 145 max energy

Level 80 - 150 max energy

Level 85 - 155 max energy

Level 90 - 160 max energy

Level 95 - 165 max energy

Level 100 - 170 max energy


Make the amount of XP needed to go from 60 - 100 much, much higher, so it would take a LOT of game play to even get to level 80, for example.   This XP requirement can continue to rise exponentially all the way to 100, so it would take someone playing 1000 energy per day a full year of game play to get to level 90, for example.  


So maybe in 3 months, we might see dedicated players at level 70, then in 6 months, the highest level players at level 75, and level 80 players by next year.   You get the idea.    This adds meaning and incentive to these levels.   So in a year, if there is someone who is level 85, it is like - WOAH there is a level 85 player.  That person is DEDICATED!    The account level becomes something similar to platinum arena avatar pictures - more like bragging rights, but with the perk of more energy being something people really, really want.    We might see players in the level 90-95 range in 2 years, and maybe the first player to reach 100, around 2-3 years' time.

If Plarium makes level 60-100 a rapid progression, then soon everyone will be running around at level 100 in 3 months, still with 130 max energy and it won't mean anything, 

Finally, the other "perk" of hitting higher milestones of account level should be REDUCING energy requirements of going through Nightmare Campaign.   Reducing the energy per level from 16 gradually down to 10 energy, for example, as you gain account levels, would be yet another incentive for people to play the game even more and level their accounts.

Reducing the energy for Nightmare Campaign, along with a slightly larger energy pool, would make campaign farming Nightmare campaign a much, much more viable option for ultra high level players.   Nightmare campaign would be more meaningful, and not just be something that everybody does one time with 3 stars, just to get all the rewards, and then never touches again.  The extra XP to more rapidly level heroes to level 60 from farming Nightmare campaign will be yet another incentive for players to keep playing the game and get their account level higher.

Plarium, please make account levels meaningful!

Please hurry up with the good thing to do with doupe legos!


I would like it to be a reroll/re-fuse of for a random lego of same affinity (Force => Force, Void => Void)

Cost 1M silver (normal lego fuse rate)

If we only could do this once a week (7 days cooldown)

 I dont think it would be to powerfull.


Yes its rng so it could be the same again but then you can try again in 7 days.

Another option that could be more scaled back to epics would be:

- if you use dupe as skillbook - it acts as 2-3 books for epic or 3-4 for legendary (randomised amount on top of randomised skill this amount goes into.

or better yet - dupe used as skillup can give 1 or up to star count of dupe (rankup epic dupe to 6* and use it as skillup food for your primary copy of that champ to have a chance to get 6 epic book worth of skillups out of that one shot)
