Is the update ready for Android? if yes android users are being deprived of the update because of apple, if that's right it's very unfair to android users.

And letting android users have the update before apple user would be fair? 🙄🙄🙄

Yes, Android users should not be harmed because of the apple.

It's not because of Apple. It's because someone decided to submit half-baked product for their review. Apple has comprehensive "review guidelines", which you would think someone creating apps for years should know down to every little detail.

Or maybe, because someone been promising content updates for half a year and experimenting on players left and right - with events, package prices and so forth. So some of these unhappy players filed a couple hundred complaints to Apple drawing their attention. I recall one forum user willing to write a letter to some Rep Congressman

Depending on how meticulous will Apple go about their review, certain Raid features may become a problem. For example:

"Any credits or in-game currencies purchased via in-app purchase may not expire, and you should make sure you have a restore mechanism for any restorable in-app purchases." - everything you buy goes to stash and expires in 99 days.

"Apps offering “loot boxes” or other mechanisms that provide randomized virtual items for purchase must disclose the odds of receiving each type of item to customers prior to purchase." - packs with gear do not disclose the chances of getting specific stats.

"Apps should allow a user to get what they’ve paid for without performing additional tasks, such as posting on social media, uploading contacts, checking in to the app a certain number of times, etc." - daily packs require you to login for X days or reach Y level in order to get all rewards.

That last one, you were stretching. The daily log in, you do not pay for, the game is free to play.

The statement you wrote does not coincide with that rule.

The rest however are spot on..

Anymore “soon” replies to 1.8??

By "daily packs" I meant for example "Sacred Daily Pack" from "Daily & Progression" in the Shop - you pay $30 and then you have to wait/login for 7 days to get them rewards.

That is permissable as long as you cannot lose what you paid for if you do not complete it within a limited time frame and the condition is clearly disclosed in the offer.

You are incorrect here. The issue in question happened due to a recent rule change, specifically that Apple now requires additional elements for a feature they have previously approved and validated. The matter is being handled, however. So we do not expect further delays.

In regards to Android getting 1.8 earlier - that is impossible. The game is not separated between Android and iOS users, they are all on the same "server". Updating the aforementioned server and releasing the game client for one of the systems but not the other is a recipe for disaster. As I mentioned before, the best case scenario would be players who did not have the update will experience game-breaking bugs. In the worst case scenario, it will affect whole segments or the server in general.

And before anyone asks, separating Android and iOS users is not an option either. First, it would mean that people would be unable to play on the same account using whatever device they please. Meaning that switching your phone from, say, Samsung to iPhone or vice versa would mean all your progress is potentially lost to you. Second, either Android or iOS community will be left hanging if one receives the update long before the other. Any cross-"platform" tournaments if such were possible would be skewed. And third, this does not happen frequently enough.

So is there any word on when we will get update? The Silence is deafening....meanwhile we all continue to lose energy and clan boss keys to the constant freezing.

Update keeps getting rejected by Apple which is what is causing the delay.

Yes but the question is for when? We already spend a lot of time with the information of the failure with iOS. Already half of the clan was in another game ... the people who invite the game equal ... bua what disappointment

I'm not one to complain, been here since beta. That said, I'm excited for the 1st major update. We have been patiently waiting on FW for awhile. I am wondering though, with the problems pushing this update back weeks at a time, why couldn't we get a minor update in the meantime. We still have broken skills that do not work as intended in game ect that have been that way since release lol? To restore a little faith Plarium could of gave us some of the fixes in the meantime. Lack of communication is deafening, and players are left to wonder just how serious the devs are about this game when they wont even fix the small things over a large time frame.

So instead of making sure the update was in compliance with current guidelines it was just assumed everything was accurate........ way to halfass it there . Looks like its about time to stop putting any money or effort into this game until y'all can get it together.

We constantly hear excuse after excuse about the the update and nothing on fixes from the previous

Here is my question about all this going on. What is going to happen if and when representative Josh hawley's bill to ban pay to win and micro transactions gets passed how will you keep the game going if you don't have player support? Because let's face it in its current state many of us are dissatisfied and have either stopped putting money into it already or refused from the start.

Couldn't have said it better. If only their top priority was to fix the game and not milking our money. Game would be fixed by now

If you think every little change in the guidelines can be easily tracked or that Apple gives others notice of the specific changes, you probably never had to deal with anything of the sort ;) It is not a major feature, but the change in question was tricky as it connects to larger mechanics and had to be tested very thoroughly to ensure nothing essential was broken.
