I'm new too the game but as far as I see I'm with the long timers .... not a good thing.  Unless you bounes everybody hugh before YOU DECIDE how to spend there MONEY

The old system was just fine if you knew what you were doing.  It was resonably simple to know your maximum risk on any single action before launching an attack.  Major rewards were predictable and the losses necessary to generate them were relatively predictable.  Now not so much and in the last three weeks, not counting your recent revision (I think) major rewards have been still predictable but fewer and requiring additional loss.

The problem with the new and the old system is simply BANKING.  Whether the new or old system, you simply cannot profit from PRIZES.  You have to build and lose more than you win.  Otherwise Plarium cannot keep their offices open if everyone can make troops from Lighthouse raids. (more than they send)

You will over time be killing many more than you can win.  Small payouts or bigger payouts do not matter if it is the same.  Now it is simply a slower drain on your fleet.

Not completely true.

You can't profit for free, that's correct (at least to the best of my knowledge... there are unconfirmed rumours that "there is a system"), but if you revive your losses, then you kinda profit. You see, revivals during global discount cost 1/4 of a price of buying new troops, but the bank fills normally. This is equivalent to buying troops at 1/4 of the price.

I don't do this, but several coiners told me that it is the cheapest way to beef up quickly.
