Harbor cost upgrade

Hi does anyone know how many etchings it takes to level up each level of the harbor past level 21. Hence above 21 because at level 20 you can already see that it costs 150 etchings. I heard from some people that it doubles up or almost doubles up each level. If that is correct then it would costs close to 8k etchings to max the harbor. I just wanted to know the exact numbers if anyone knows so I can plan ahead on how many etchings I would need to buy. Thanks.

Personally don't see the point to upgrading the harbor. There are better buildings to use etchings on. Not sure about you but we've all been taught to drain our res before logging off. My view point has always been gold and lumber are the most important resource. If I need rum, I can always ask in chat.

It makes sense to upgrade the harbour if you cannot log in very often, because the top four levels give you autoturtle for newly built troops, and it's not pleasant to come back to a day of lost production.

So roughly around 50k rubies worth of etchings if they were on sale to have all newly trained troops secured. It would be a very good investment if your haven is always attacked by multiple people while you are sleeping or doing some stuff in real life. Can't sit at the computer all day to secure newly trained troops. Time to start saving up or rather stop buying anything for like 2 months and let all my sales go back to the cheapest it can be and then buy the $10 starter packages that has 15k rubies.

Did some math on the starter kits after I bought 1 round of it. If you bought all 3 of each with the bonus items of time boosts you would get this much.

$51 for the 9 packages will get you 71,055 rubies 63 days 5 hours and 45 minutes of boost time and all the bonus items worth 250,290 rubies. If you wait until they have a sale for 80% off you can 2 of each more from the weekly specials if you bought it on a day where it has time boosts and units. So another $16 to it will give you more boosts and units and about another 24k+ rubies. In all your wait time for everything to reset back is about 2 months or more plus some wait time for the special sales to come on. So maybe 3 months. Spend wisely but have to wait but you will get your moneys worth in the end. So your grand total is about $67. I did not calculate in what you get for the weekly specials on the items but it s worth it. In the end you will have close to 100k rubies and lot's of boosts, some dreads and units depending on what they give during those specials.

Do you know this from experience, discussion, or some other method?  Plea the fifth if you wish not to disclose, but I wish this info was more available

Did not know about the auto crew hider for newly qued troops. Good feature but I still stand by my opinion. Better things to spend etchings on. For instance levels 31 and 32 for discoveries or the rum distileries and infirmary

@Gut: I honestly don't know. Some are from my own experience, and some are from other people. I'm trying to compile a list of all costs, to publish them here. If you want to help, I'm still missing etchings costs for:

  • Brethren Court, level 7;
  • Distillery, levels 24 and 25;
  • Lumber yard and Gold mine, levels 23-25;
  • House O' Navigation, levels 21 and 25;
  • Lighthouse, level 22;
  • Market, levels 21 and 22;
  • Merchant's Guild, levels 23 and 24;
  • Sawmill and Windmill, level 7 (I have it, but the number seems too high, so I'd like to get a confirmation);
  • Warehouse/Cellar, levels 23-25.
@Icy: You're looking for your own perspective. For players not playing so much and/or having smaller fleets, bonuses are not nearly as useful, plus they take forever, unless you boost (which smaller players generally cannot or won't afford).

Sigh!!! After that post from Devastator they nerfed the treasure chests. Was it coincidence or was it his fault. Now you can't by the chests deals 3 times anymore. Hopefully it is just during these events and not a everyday thing now. If it is an everyday thing now looks like they get cheaper by the day. When I say cheaper I don't mean the prices either and when I said they I meant you know who. As for what you are looking for crowbar I am sorry I leveled them up and forgot the price. I can recall though it gets ridiculously high. Can't wait to see the price of them after the next upgrades are available.

Thank you, but I have most of those. For Market, I need low levels (21 and 22), not the hight ones, because I upgraded them fairly quickly, before I started taking notes of these requirements, and so did everyone I asked about it.

Hi there,

Market level 21 costs 180 etchings

and got this from FB community:

Gold Mine & Lumber Yards 24: 450

Gold Mine & Lumber Yards 25: 620

I also have data on certain Unit discoveries lvl 31. Wiki update would be greatly appreciated.

1st upgrades I made were to the Market (30 Galleons) and house of Nav. Only upgraded those so I can do 100K raids without Prestige and/or pushes.

Harbor to protect new builds Stop the PvP attacks on your harbor no troops no PvP.

I don't really see the need to upgrade lumber/gold with 100K raids I can keep my build ques weeks out If I raid everyday.

After they abolished the Rum requirements why waste money on what you can raid for.

As for Brethren court? 6 people possibly stealing the havens I raid is far less damaging than 10 or even 20. They control the reports they want to see from you ( scouting and Raiding). You don't get to select what is available to them.

Thank you for that too. Can you check lower levels, so I can compare with what I have? Just to make sure that FB has the same prices as we do here.

Thank you, but I don't see the need to plan with these, so I'm not chasing them at the moment.

@Frank Connett: The top levels of lumber yards and gold mines give small permanent boosts to units' strength (plus, not everyone have enough time to raid), while the top levels of distilleries reduce rum consumption, which is useful for big players (you cannot boost units production when your rum production gets below -100k/h).

That's exactly what I got, so it makes sense that the rest of the FB costs match as well. Thank you!
