First we need to establish the real meaning of a bot; short for robot or an auto script that can play certain aspects or all aspects of any game without any human intervention. A bot is an NFC, non-player character.

What users in here call bot lines are NOT, I repeat, NOT bots. They are harvest havens that Pl intentionally placed in the game. Some of those HHs are going active which tells me that a few people at Pl are bored and messing with them, manually. 

OR... Some are being compromised by black hats and being used for their dirty deeds. Some HHs are being killed off, going red, which tells me that Pl has caught someone who has taken over that bot and turned it off.

Is it possible to code a bot in here? Yes, anything is possible given enough time and no life. The real question might be, of what benefit would NPCs be to PL in this type of game? I can see none but I am sure I will be flamed for that so have at it folks.

BTW, Anne is not a bot. Whatever she does is manually done by a human being on her account.

Does Pl use security bots? Yes they do but those bots are nothing to do with game play.

Hi, Peter! Unfortunately, this issue exists in Pirates. That's why we ask our players to help us to identify them so we could take the necessary measures. I am not able to give you the information on specific accounts. And I am not able to take any measures against them. But our Support Team and in-game security specialists monitor the situation and investigate each case reported through tickets.

I can teach my newest members to the game to find "bots" in just a few days, (so i find it hard to believe that you "need" us to find them), but i will show you how all the same:) 

Type in the coords -200 -994, this is a nice row of bots that run east and west near me lovely haven in the north west portion of the map:) Interesting line of level 39's interspersed with some level 64's. Now type in x 200 and leave the y at -994.. the same row just on the east side of the map.. now leave the x at 200 type 1000 in the y same thing just in south east..now go to the y 1265 then the 1311 line  then the 1480 line....etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc.....no way a human could have done this..only a computer program could have coordinated that:)

So in conclusion, i ask once more. Did or did not Plarium put these havens in the game????
