Can't take part in the Brotherhood tournament

I'm a permanent member of a Brotherhood.

Also, I'm a Boatswain's mate, which teoretically means I've completed my Naval training.

Still, I'm not allowed to take part and earn points in the Brotherhood tournament going on these days.

Anyone has any idea why?

Sorry, I don't know what you mean by "permanent member". Did you join more than 7 days ago?

No, I think I only joined about five days ago. So being a "permanent member" actually means - more than 7 days in the brotherhood?

I previously looked in the Help directory, which said that if a tournament was locked, it meant I hadn't completed the Naval Training. SO I thought that was the issue...

I think that "Naval training" is just a "piratey" expression for "you were a member for at least 7 days". It has nothing to do with the rank. My guess is that they want to avoid people skipping between BHs, boosting BH quests for more than one of them.

But yes, that's your problem. In 2 days, you ought to be able to participate (might need to wait for the reset then; not just 7*24 hours to pass).

Thanks for the info. Some other members of my brotherhood had the same question and I was able to "lighten" them up, too.

Perhaps that 7-day limit should also be noted in the Help files, maybe in a less "piratey" way...
