There is a new pvp tournament on, the prizes are rubbish, and not worth losing ships over.
I find it an incredible bad business decision to disrespect end-user, clients with this nonsense, especially with the apparent ethos, by Plarium not to advertise Pirates Tides of Fortune, and push some new combat game.

Hi there! As for tournaments, if you don't like the rewards in our tournaments, you're free to choose any another activity in the game like PVP or BH missions. Some of our tournaments are more common, so we hold them every week, but some are rare and have more significant rewards, so we hold them less frequently.
And as for advertising, we don't advertise our old and successful projects like Pirates: Tides of Fortune or Total Domination just because these games already have an enormous fan base. So we make marketing efforts only for our new projects to make them as popular as PToF.

My argument is with the tournament tiers since they added the Supreme League for coiners
I am level 56 on sirens server, but everyone in My League are high level players stealing all the rubies from low level players
They sould NOT be in the same tier - there is a bug in the algorithm which allows unsuccessful high level players to compete in the wrong tiers
Why are these players being rewarded?
Bring back the old tier system and add extra tiers for those above level 70

I feel your pain Stiletto I am level 65 in Pirates Bay, and a lot in my league are over Level 80 and some over Level 100, the small guy has NO CHANCE.

Have to agree the old system was more fair. It was level based and not activity based. Current system is based on how often you go into the LH.

I think the reduced forum activity is more down to unofficial chat rooms, forums, and open pirate rooms in discord, where from what I have seen, seems to have zero rules or respect.

WOW You are not joking I went in one never said a word and was greeted with " What the F*** do you want"
not that I care much that it doesn't get used. this is why my open chat had rules put in place. even though we all are adults, even adults can experience cyber bullying. it may not be perfect but is a viable option. however these rooms were created because of the factin game regional chat is lacking in players we can talk with. for instance I'm on archipelago 1 and most of those players joined when the server was created and majority have since long quit resulting in no one to talk to. had the regional chats been global discord rooms wouldn't be as needed. also the fact censorship is excessive gives more reason for discord. then there's the fact of screens being visible and not needing to be clicked to view. discord just has more features. however the bhs have all been using discord or similar programs for years. discord just happens to be the most popular.

cyber bullying like posting pictures of your d*** in discord chat.....well if your talking about that i found it DISGUSTING same as many others who WAS in YOURS open chat......
