Anne Bonnie found an ancient treasure!

She carefully examined one of the coins and saw that it was dated 20 BC. That is when she realized they were fake! How did Anne know?

2,000 Rubies will go to one of the Captains to leave a comment and give the correct answer!

They are dated 20 B.C.  Things were not dated B.C. before Christ was born if it were before him how are they referring to him with no knowledge of him?

It could not have been dated 20 BC because the calendar that gave us that date had not been  devised until the 6th century. No other explanation needed.

The numbering calendars was not invented so early.

BC = Before Christ, before the birth of Christ, so it's impossible.

How were they about to know, that in 20 years time in the future something would happen to change whatever calendar they had until then?

BC was not a term used at that time

Twenty years before Christ! Uh oh, methinks these are forgeries. Unless the makers were clairvoyant.

If they were made in 20 BC, the makers would not know that term yet.

BC means before Christ and since Christ had not been born yet, they were obviously fake.
