My kids agree that you multiply first, but argue you should always include parentheses to avoid confusion.  So if the tentacle matters, and if we multiply first, I get 81.  If we just go in the order of the problem, I get 84...unless the tentacle is missing by accident.  Then it would be 101...or 105.
