You get the email after you have clicked the reward from inside the events tab, this will happen for every tourney you get rewards from.

I'm guessing you mean parrots. Don't these get delivered after you have collected your reward(s), or when the event is over if you participated without qualifying?

These are announcements advising you of events I know facebook version did this andwhen you clicked it you'd be moved to the game, so I can only think that plarium is using this method to get you to participate in the events also.

If its a BH tournament and no units other than scouts, stones and codexs are received you won't see anything but the parrot. If your participation was minimal you may only get a few rubies generally I've noticed just 10 or 15 rubies. A window pops up showing the rubies you gained with the parrot. If units are gained you have the choice of offense or def. After you choose you'll see the parrot and the units go directly to your harbor.One other thing for BH tournaments you need to gain a minimal of 100 points to receive any rewards. All you'll receive is a parrot but no rewards will be earned.
