Rum Distillery Output Issues

My Distillery output seems to vary greatly, currently showing an output of 42 p/h. That seems completely wrong since I have one level ten distillery that should by itself be producing 400 p/h, and several other distilleries. My cellar capacity is not the issue either.

I suppose you are looking from the resource tab (top right corner) in there rum production p/h is shown after deducting the feed of your army.



so maybe your production total is 15000 PH but 14958 is being consumed by your army everyhour. Rest is 42 PH

Okay that explains a lot. I still wonder why that one varies so much. I understand why the gold and lumber do not vary, but really shouldn't rum consumption be somewhat stable through the hours of the day? I can see why the consumption might vary day to day, as I lose or gain units of rum usage. I will keep a closer eye on it to see if I can begin to see the logic of it. Meanwhile increase my production! Right? Then it is not an issue.

yeah you got it right, and also when you hover mouse over rum it shows you your rum consumption as well.


Rum is the only resource that is plenty available every time to 80% people at least. so no need to worry

Something to keep in mind. Some units like dragon units aren't worth the  rum they consume. 

All 4 have no higher than a def stat of 99 with prestige at level20. However they each use 4 rum per hour. Now the next def unit that uses the same rum value are mercenaries but none of those exceed 250 in defense. So in defense for instance the units you want drinking all your rum would be either fleet or armada units
