I purchased 40 skirmishers from the Tavern but I then went and immediately purchased 9 more.
The resources for both purchases disappeared from my stores but the build queue in the Tavern only showed 10 being trained.
I think something may be a bit wrong here.
it is not possible.
Maybe units have been trained already & in your haven & harbor.
But if you are sure it is some kind of bug, contact support they will check it for you with their in game logs

I beg to differ. I did say that I "immediately" went back to put in the extra 9, there wasn't even time to train just 1.
However I have taken your advise and used the link to submit a bug issue.
