Bastion question

Hi,

I was reading the information on bastions and I came across this passage.

"BASTION INTERACTIONS

Each Brotherhood should work to downgrade other Brotherhoods’ Bastions. Firstly, downgrading rival Brotherhood Bastions keeps them from receiving bonuses. Secondly, downgrading other Brotherhoods’ Bastions is vital for a Brotherhood hoping to upgrade their own Bastion."

The second point is never really explained. In other words, what does the successful attacking Brotherhood get?

Greetings. To upgrade your own Bastion to certain levels you will need to downgrade your rivals' Bastions.

I believe tthe downgrading part As to update your own the bastion you down grade has to be within the same level as your own

i want to ask about the lv 5 bastion.

at lv 5 the bastion can't be downgraded..does that mean we can leave it with no troops there ?

if it's lv 5 and with zero troops and got raided..do we lose the knwoledge by 1 lv until a certan numbers of houres pass ??

it is plausible to leave it at level 5 without troops, but others on the map may see this as a sign of weakness. But no it can't be downgraded. And any knowledge you have past level 5 will only give you up to level 5 bonuses. Anything higher requires you bastion to be at a higher level.

i have a question: why i can't raid a bastion when i am with my Bh for over 7 days and the bastion that i want to raid is not an ally or at peace with us..and i don't get any bastion protection notice...just a grey bastion when i hove on top of it

some bastions when they first added to the map are still under protection,

im not fully sure on this one... there is a few theries

Also your rank within your BH makes a difference. Bastions are the same in presidios in the sense of which ranks can attack. Its swashbuckler and above that can initiate an attack
