Haven resource raid - is there a limit?

I thought there was a limit on the amount of resource a player can raid from a single haven in any single week. I have been hit by a Level 96 player 13 times for a total of 800k in resource in a period of less than 15 minutes. How is this possible?

as the raids were hitting.. was this player also sending resources to you?? if so ... then this is the Pirates version of the "van trick" in Stormfall.. It allows you to collect up to 2x resouces per raid.. but it can also be used to rinse a castle/haven of res.. though that could be classed as a bit OCD..

Nothing you can do really other than keep res low... or maybe set a defence trap?? 🤔

No he wasn't sending resource, so I'm still puzzled.

I think I have the answer. If you send a succession of raids before the first one has reached the target, the game will not 'detect' that the limit has been reached.

hmm... I am assuming you were online and watching the raids coming in.. if not then the trick is that res is sent 15 - 20 secs before the raid hits then cancelled a sec or 2 after the raid hits - so no res is actually delivered!! So if you're basing on reports alone after the fact you wouldn't necessarily twig as to what he/she was doing.

If you were online and watching the raids hit with no incoming res.. that would be weird... though I must ask... why not defend (call in for reinforcements from BH)? ... might have given the raider a bit of a headache!!

No... if you do this without the "res push" once the limit is hit all subsequent raids will net zero res... res push is necessary to bypass raid res limit

I was offline, so your comment is probably correct.

I tested my theory and you're right, it doesn't work.

You can send a large number of raids to a haven - provided you send  and cancel resources each time

The raid is reduced from 100k to 50k for the second and subsequent raids

I do it often for gold and lumber havens with no run

I call it  strip mining

The 50k weekly raid limit is the biggest joke in the game

The limit only applies to profit, and not total resources

By sending and cancelling rum shipments you fool the game into thinking you made zero profit

I understand there is a similar trick at Prizes .... but only the russian players know the full secret
