Graphic bug?

Hiya, my online game friend went on a vacation and asked me to help defend his SH. I deployed some troops there and there was an attack on his SH. I rebuilt his siege turrets and cannons. The next day it shows that it was destroyed again and in need to rebuilding again but I did not see a battle report generated in my warfare list and I did not lose any of my troops deployed in his SH. Is it normal that no report is generated if the attacker was not successful with his attack on the SH or is it just a graphic bug showing that the cannons and siege turrets are destroyed

I am not sure if its a bug or not that is why I would like to confirm before sending them a tell. :)

I'm also not sure. So we need to investigate this case :)
