The House of Batiatus, a recently top-ranking coalition, has faced many challenges that have cost them dearly. But this noble force battles on and, more importantly, lives to fight another day.
The position and rankings of coalitions are ever-changing. One minute you are on top, the next you are being toppled by your enemies. The one true risk that comes along with being the top-ranked coalition is the fact that there is nowhere else to go but down.
This is a fate that has recently befallen the House of Batiatus, a coalition that saw itself soaring through the ranks and landing itself as the top ranking coalition in the realm. This prompted a public forum post which proclaimed their victory some months ago.
Now, their enemies have taken to the very same forum post to mock them, a cruel and malicious action given the strife and constant warfare that HoB has recently been forced to face.
The above post was prompted by the recent war that broke out and resulted in the House of Batiatus losing their two last remaining Pantheons. The abandonment of the Pantheons, as their members go on to explain, was voluntary, as they decided it was best to withdraw their forces, rather than face additional losses.
Yet the fact remains that HoB, a well-respected and noble coalition, is still out there, and they still have most of their forces remaining intact, making them a threat to their enemies and foes.
Proving this fact, HoB has continued to strike back against those who have done them harm, exacting revenge as they go.
Since issuing these attack orders and many others, HoB has toppled and retaken a number of Pantheons. These actions prove the fact that they are still a force to be reckoned with and put them in a dangerous category: they have nothing to lose, and that makes them that much harder to retaliate against.
Staying true to this, we can see from the above images that the House of Batiatus has been successful in reclaiming one of their lost Pantheons, but likely have little intentions of truly keeping it.
Although facing and surviving many challenges, it has taken a toll on their ranks, which has resulted in one of their Polemarches stepping down from his position.
This is a coalition that has gone through fire and come out the other side, not unscathed, but still intact. We at the Chronicle know that they will continue to fight on, and you can rest assured that this won't be the last we hear of them.
