Strongholds with no active clan members

Numbers of strongholds are built and subsequently the clan dies out.  Few, if any, of the chiefs hit the "destroy the stronghold" button when they quit so there the SHs sit, burdening their kingdom with dead influence and sometimes exercising dead control over Pioneer tiles or otherwise getting in the way.

So my suggestion is that the developers introduce some programming to clear away any stronghold where there has been no active clan member for six months.

Unlike clearing away dead towns, clearing away dead SHs does not involve making any change to anyone's account.

John this is an excellent suggestion but for me doesn't go far enough. If no clan member has logged in for 6 months then the SH should be destroyed and the clan abolished. This then doesn't affect individual accounts but does free kingdoms of dead influence which is spoiling kingdom battles.

Unless there is significant unbalanced influence in some kingdoms, which I doubt, clearing them is  going to largely have no impact whatsoever.

Unfortunately it can't be done like this, because there is a Privacy and Cookie Policy:

There you may find such description as: "We will keep your information for as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out above in accordance with applicable law..". Users Clans, Towns, anything users created or built are their confidential information that we can't delete without their permission.


But for now our developers are already working on such cases, to improve that part of the game to the best 🤗

This is interesting. How do I lose troops when I'm farming and some tilehitter decides to attack? I don't remember giving permission for my troops I created to be deleted.

It doesn't quite work that way, Blackadder😁

I meant our interference in players' game progress. The mentioned example is prescribed in the game functionality👍

😂 Ivar my comment was definitely tongue in cheek. It just feels a bit poor that the rules of the game allow former players who've left the game to negatively impact those still playing.

Perhaps the game functionality needs updating to accommodate John's suggestion then.
